Either Talon is the thing that brought Shona back to life and gave Gypsy his soul or he was created by the red energy thingy too. Am I close?

Author's Response: Spot on with no. 2. the red energy thing, technically known as the rift, changed all three of them and I'll explain why next chapter. thanks for reviewing
