That's pure evil.
Please tell me you're writing a sequel.
Author's Response: No, sorry. No sequel. That’s how it ends. Just kidding. With all my own loose ends, I definitely need a second season to wrap it all up. I’m just trying to get through one or tow other stories first. Thanks again for reading and for reviewing. I know there’s only so much time anyone has, so I’m extremely honored that you spent some of that time with my story. |

Wow. Great chapter. Great ending. There were so many little moments that I loved so much. The sociopath thinking Dawn was cute, Buffy smacking Hank, the B&E thing, and many others that I can't remember...And I'm so glad Angel showed up to help Connor pack. And that Buffy and Dawn had their talk about all their sister issues. It's about time. And I cannot wait for the sequel. Just one more thing: why were the quotation marks missing for the first half of the chapter?
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I’m always happy when my humor comes across. One of the funniest things on the show for me was when they had these mundane conversations while in mortal peril. Part of Dawn’s growth is being glad boys think she’s hot, even if they are about to eat her. Part of Angel’s growth is helping his son pack. Similarly, Buffy and Dawn were long overdue for a talk. Unfortunately, I don’t want Buffy in the regular cast next season, but I don’t know how else to have her make good on her promise. Assuming, of course, Dawn is alive next season. The missing quotation marks were the result of a practical joke by my Beta. He used to have my password. Emphasis on the *used to*. Thanks again! |

Okay. I just finished it. And I must say I found it very entertaining, but it had just a bit too much action for me. I mean... it was twist after twist after twist... Although you still managed to protray some of the characters emotional conflicts even in the middle of all the adventure.
Don't get me wrong. I love to see Connor fighting but I just like stories much better when their central theme is the emotional confilcts. That must be because I'm so taken by one specific character and I feel the actual show didn't develop it the right way, so I expect fanfic to make up for it.
Anyway, as I said before, I really liked this story, although I still prefer The Destroyer.
By the way, in your previous message you told me to read Running on Faith. I read it some time ago. I even commented on it. Check older reviews and you may find mine. It was a long time ago though, so I don't blame you for forgetting about it.
Tonight I'm going to try those stories you talked to me about.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the reviews. In general, people tend to think there's too much action or too much "emotional stuff." I generally try to walk a line between the two and have a bit of both. I would argue that the central theme of the story IS the emotional conflict within each character. Still, I can definitely understanding someone wanting less action and more emotion (or vice versa). Thanks for enduring the fight sequences to read the story. And of course, thank you for taking the time to share your comments with me.
I absolutely remember your review for RoF. (Although I only remember one, sorry if there were others). I never forget someone who actually likes Connor MORE than I do. But there’ve been updates to the story since then and I thought you might like to check them out. Thanks again for reading and I hope you enjoy the other stories. |

And just when I had started to trust Hank...BANG... he turns out to be dead for 5 years. That's some really great writing!! And good choice to have Kennedy give Connor the 'talk'. She really has become a character of her on rights in the group throughout the series. Looking forward for season 2 ^^!
Author's Response: I really wanted to work on developing Kennedy as a character as well as her relationship with Willow. And yes, she of all people might know how Dawn feels. As for the Hank thing, yeah, that was fun. Truth be told, I really can't justify at all any father not coming to see his kids when their mother dies. That's insane. How could anyone do that. The only solution I could come up with was the one I gave. By way of that, I may have stumbled onto the series's big bad for the coming year. Maybe.
I want to thank you again for reading and reviewing. I know that everyone has a limited amount of leisure time. I'm so extremely honored and so psyched that you chose to spend some of that scarce free time with my story and I'm even more extremely grateful you took the time to share your thoughts with me and other readers. This is literally the reason I write and I can't describe to you how much I appreciate it. |

OMG, is this the last part of this story, will there be a sequel?? Well, I hope there will be..*Cross My Fingers*. Anyway, great chapter here, and cliff hanger too. Who is this guy, if Hank died 5 years ago and the *shit* thing is he is with Dawn. I thought Angel had forgotten about Connor's leaving, at least he remembers and I thought that part Angel did, was a nice fatherly-thing to do which was to help Connor pack his bag before he leaves with his other parents. I also like the conversation between Dawn and Buffy especially when Buffy revealed to Dawn about her feelings. So, yap I do hope, you will continue, please don't leave it there, thanks and I enjoyed this chapter as well =D
Author's Response: Not to worry, there will be a sequel. I'm a big fan of having nice Angel/ Connor moments where they can both make up for all the crap they did to each other in the past. I also think Buffy could be a better big sis and I'm hoing to redeem both Buffy and Angel on the family front. Thanks so much for reading and also for your reviews. It means so much to me to have interested readers and I can honestly say that's what's kept me going, keeps me going, and will keep me going. Thanks soooooo much!!! |

Author's Response: Oh, I CAN just leave you hanigng like that. I could leave you hanging like that forever!!! Just kididng. I'm pretty sure you'd just lose interest in my stories and that would be heart breaking, so not to worry. There will be a sequel. As for what happens, I will tell you nothing. |

That's a rather good cliffhanger. I'm liking that idea, leaves a great deal of mystery. And also, I liked the part about the 'body cavity search'. That had some funny to it.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad you liked the chapter and the cliffhanger. I hope to start season 2 before too long. |

I so loved this fic. I hope too that you do a sequel because hello cliff hanger is killing me. What happens to Dawn and who is this guy portraying her father. Connor should try and track her down finally realizing that he has feelings for Dawn, gees I hate cliff hangers sometimes. Great work, loved it.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I will do a sequel. I just want to finish off or move along some of my other stories so I have creative ideas to throw atyou and not just boring chapters that slowly move the plot. Thanks again! |

I agree with everything ksue said! PLEASE don't leave it there! Loved the whole thing, but I gotta know what happens next or it'll make me crazier than I really wanna be right now!
Author's Response: LOL- thanks for reading! Sorry, this is it. No more. It's all a big cliffhanger. Just kidding, of course. I'm definitley writing a sequel. I just want to spend a little time on my other stories and get them further along before I open up Campus Life 2. |

Great series, overall. Like ll your other work. Now, on to the complant (Filmtheroy's jaw drops) I noticed you've said you don't want to go on, with this. Anbd I haven't pushed, because it's up to you. But there is now way, in HELL, that was the END!!!!! If you end it lkie that, I will find you, and take you down. (I'm kidding), anyway, Good work.
PS, I'M NOT KIDDING!!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. I will do a second season at some point. I want to get a few of my other stories finished, or at least progress further on them, before I start Campus Life 2. Thanks for your loyal readership. It really helped keep me going and was a huge part of my decision to continue the story. |
