This review was terrifying until I stopped and deleted it all. Let's just say it's really, really good, and you should really write more, and soon, please. However, I'm a little bit muddled about some things. Maybe it's the meticulous lack of updates (hint hint), but... I'm not sure. There's something about it that just doesn't sit well with me. When I figure it out, I'll let you know.
Author's Response: Thanks for r&r-ing! And if you do find out what it is that doesn't quite work, please let me know, because I agree - something about it seems ever so slightly off to me. I keep thinking there's something I've forgotten. I guess that's why it's taken me so long to pick it up again. |

| See, now, to me, the structure of it all steps back into play. I can see the point you're trying to make in this chapter whereas in the last one it was all too jumpy (though don't get me wrong; I'm a huge fan of jumpy. I mean "too" in an "it's making my brain go 'huh?'" sort of way) to form why exactly Buffy acted in such a manner. Anyway, thread's back. Love it to bits. |

| This chapter doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but I can follow it on a basic level and it's well written anyway; maybe it'll come together for me later. Top rate work, though, absolutely. Just... a bit rushed, maybe. |

| Well, you may be sacrificing plot for character development, but it's GOOD character development! As axel said, it sucks to be Spike. I like the confusion about Buffy vs. Darla. Very nice. |

Great chapter. Very intense. The training session with Jeremiah was my favorite part.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, I like that scene. Though I cringed a bit writing it... I don't wanna see Buffy getting beat up by a man whom she has to trust and who may or may not be evil. But it had to be done. |
