Love this ficlet. I was a little worried that you were one of those Spike shippers that fail to see the ever-present monster in the man, but you nailed him! LOL
Author's Response: I do love Spike - precisely because of that. The soulless killer who is also, on some level, a sucker for romance and melodrama. Of course he wants to get Dru the finest Xmas gift he can think of. The William in him can relate to the girl - and the monster in him uses that to his advantage. Thanks a lot! |

I started reading this story and thinking:What the hell? And then when Dru and Spike drank the girli was like OOOOO. I love this. *sings*Have a very Spikey christmas!

Merry F*#king Christmas. I love it! Great story. I'm giong to have to wright a Christmas story soon. But all I can think of, is a Christmas Carol, wiht Giles, as Scrooge. But I reallydon't what to do that. Anyway good job.

I thought that Spike was doing a good deed and was taking the girl to Buffy. Boy was I wrong! Great story though.
Author's Response: Thanks! That's kind of the idea. Hey, vampires are just like us: they put off shopping for Christmas gifts until Christmas Eve. I thought it was pretty thoughtful of him, actually. |
