that was so hilarious! i always thought xander was seriously underrated, good to see that he's finally being appreciated, what with his "gleaming smile... and brute power"!
Author's Response: Yeah, I'm with you, seriously under-appreciated. That doesn't excuse the terrible 'Xander is onimpotent' fics that are out there though. This is basically a mickey-take of them. |

Freaking hilarious!!!!!!!! Anyone who can work Doogie Houser into a BTVS fanfic is a genius. So how many people have loved it cuz Xander's SOOOOO GREAT? How many people have hated cuz there's NO WAY Xander is cooler than Faith or Angel or Spike or Oz or INSERT NAME HERE?
Author's Response: Actually he's way cooler than Spike.
Why?
Because he does things because they're the right thing to do, not to get into some girl's pants. Because he regrets making a mess, getting things wrong, doesn't glory in his evil. Because he'll tell you when he thinks you're wrong, not try and manipulate you into the sack.
Because he's a decent man. While Spike soulled or not is opportunist scum.
And Xander's way more interesting than Oz.
Angel on the other hand comes down to opinion. Better than Sunnydale Angel, equal to LA Angel.
