I love love love the second chappie and its soo good to see more of the Buffy characters being introduced here -Tara and Anya- but i gotta say even though there is not action or suspense in the first chappies, i really really enjoyed them nonetheless and i am sooooo glad that you decided to make a sequel to Phantom Angels Shadow because this fic is turning out to be sooooo awesome to read just like the first fic and you're writing this sequel really well as Phantom. You are such an amazing writer and i hope to see a update asap!!!

I'm glad you're okay with the lack of suspense and action just yet, as it may continue that way for a little while longer. There are still some characters to introduce and I'd like to get the opportunity to reintroduce Willow, Xander, William, and Cordelia before things start to pick up. Great chapter. Anya was too funny. I wasn't expecting to see her in this but I'm glad you added her. Now theonly people that are missing are Daw,. Connor,Gunn, and Fred..well and Lorne but how would you add a green demon to phantom? LoL. Again great job, I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Yeah, green demon guy would be a bit tough to include :) Glad you liked the inclusion of Anya. I'm not certain yet how big of a part she'll play (just like I'm not sure how much Wesley will actually be involved) so, we'll see :) As always, thank you so much for all the fantastic reviews. Hahaha! Excellent! I totally was not expecting Anya at all but I think that was an amazing idea. I've always loved Anya on Buffy and I can't wait to see in this now. Great job on this chapter. It's so sad though that Gareth is out to get Angel thinking hes the bad guy. It seems like hes actually a good guy...hes just been pointed in the wrong direction. I'm also interested in finding out why Tara doesn't talk. I can't wait to see whats going to happen next. This story is coming along great so far. That said...I have only one small problem with it (hey I don't you I'd be honist). The whole thing with Riley must have been extreamly big news. I find it really really hard to believe that Gareth didn't hear the real story from like...everyone in the world. I'm just finding it really hard to believe that he hasn't heard what really happened and how he can actually believe what his brother said when he doesn't even seem to like or trust him at all. Sorry for the criticisum but that was the only thing that I thought was kind of weird. Other than that though the story is coming along great just like all of your stories do. Keep up the good work and I can't wait see what happens next.
Author's Response: Too clever!! You're not supposed to notice that yet!! lol - but good point, and I should've elaborated on that in this chapter as opposed to planning on it in the next chapter or two. Riley's death was news ... just not in the way you might think it would've been. If I'd known at the time I was going to do a sequel, I would have planned this explination for the Epilogue of Phantom, but I know, I'm probably not making much sense. Never fear, a reason will be given that should make sense ... it makes sense in my head at any rate ... we'll see when it comes out on paper :) I'm so glad you liked Anya being included, and thank you for the criticism - hey I want honesty and I mean it :) I'm glad you still enjoyed it despite that rather obvious gap in the story, but the reason is coming, I promise. Thank you so much again for the review. I really, really appreciate it!! |

Sorry but I just had to say this...I love love loved Mummy Returns and X-men II. You have great taist in movies! lol just wanted to add that.
Author's Response: lol - Well thank you very much! I couldn't help but mention those were two very good sequels Hollywood was able to pull off ... Pirates of the Caribbean sequel shold be good too (c'mon, with Johnny Depp reprising his role, it can't be anything but good), but I don't think that'll be out until this coming summer. |

Gotta tell ya, mostly sequels(movies, books) are dissapointing to me, but this sounds great! The idea that Angel wrote all these famous operas is clever, too. And the villans of this story suond promising, i alwas find that Villans that think that they are doing the right thing in some twisted way are the scariest.
Author's Response: *sigh* I know, the curse of the sequel. I too find that most sequels tend to be a little bit of a let down (with the notable exception of Mummy Returns and X-Men 2). I pray that won't be the case for me, and that I'll be able to add new, interesting characters, more evil villains, and keep you guys guessing as to what'll happen next ... that's the goal anyway. Only time will tell if I succeed :) As always, thank you!! |

Very nice. I too never really expected a sequale the Phantom but it seems like this is going to be good. I'm loving it already just from the first chapter. I can't wait to see where you take this and I also love the fact that your bringing even more charaters from Buffy into the story (Wes and Tara). I do hope that Cordy and Spike will be back sometime in the story though. It just wouldn't be the same without those two. I'm also excited to see whats going on with Willow and Xander. Anyway great job and I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Glad you liked the addition of Wesley and Tara :) Well, even though this is a much younger version of Tara than what we would've seen on the show, obviously. As for Wes, I'm thinking his attitude is going to be more from Buffy Season 3 - this way him and Giles can get into it from time to time :) And of course, William and Cordelia will return and Willow and Xander. I have some things that need set up through the first few chapters, so we may not get to those four until a little later on (I'm thinking probably a chapter 3 or 4). But they'll definitely be back :) As always, thank you so much for the great reviews. I really, really appreciate them! |

Angels Shadow, i have to say i never expected that you would write the sequel to the fantastic and beautiful Phantom fic of yours, much leass expecting a sequel. Actually, i have to admit, i did some rambling on a fic by Peggstar and i suggested that Angels Shadow should make a spin off or a sequel to Phantom because i put in my two cents of how wonderful and beautiful that fic truly was and i wrote that about a few hours ago loooong before you even posted the first chappie to the sequel. Small world huh??? Anyways, just like the first fic, i truly, truly enjoyed the first chappie and for some reason, it is so marvously beautiful and i really really hope you'll continue with this because you are such a amazing writer at this and i will always give my support for the sequel the same i did for the first fic until the last chappie is posted. Awesome job!!! please update asap!!!

I just hope this one goes just as well ... though I'm already thinking it may run longer than Phantom because there are a lot more aspects (such as the summary might indicate) to this one than Phantom. But, we'll see. WOW!! I'm really excited to read more, I'm becoming very addicted to your stories. I think it's wonderful that you are writing a sequel.. I was so sad to see such a amazing story end even though most stories have to end sometime.. I can't wait to read more.

Great start so far! I like it. How long after Phantom does this take place? I like how you threw Wesley and Tara into the story. Update soon, I can't wait to see what happened to the others. :) Great Job!
Author's Response: I will post the answer to the timeline question at the beginning of my next chapter, since other readers may have the same question and I should've clarified that. I like having the opportunity to add new characters from Buffy to the story, so I'm glad you like the addition of Tara and Wesley. awww....this sounds very promising...and you're definately not crazy for writing a sequel at all, I'm sure if it is anywhere near as awesome as Phantom then this will be a smash hit as well!!!
