| Ok I just had to review this story again because I just baught the first season of Lost (since I've heard so many good things about it) and your right its an awesome show so far from the first three episodes I've watched. I just wanted to say that your story is almost perfectly alined with the pilot episode and while watching it I was almost missing the Buffy characters. I think that your story with the addition of the Buffy characters makes the show even better. Now don't take this as me presuring you because I know you have a lot of other stuff to do including finishing your original but I just wanted to say that I hope someday when you get around to it you do more with this story cuz its awesome. Anyway just wanted to give a new review since I have a new perspective on the story after watching some of Lost. Hope all is going well and good luck with the original! |

Another great chapter. I'm loving this chapter more and more as I read it and you know what? I'm almost kind of glad I don't watch Lost. I don't know how much your actually fallowing your story with the show but if I wanted it then I don't think I'd be as surprised with every new chapter. It's nice because I know no idea whats coming. Anyway another great chapter as usual. I like how it seems that there are quite a few twists and lots of misteries in it. Nice job. Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thank you so much - as always, I truly appreciate all your wonderful reviews. For the moment, I'm sticking very closely by the show - only adding a few new elements here and there. Its more or less as a set up to get through the confusion of the first few days on the island. After that, I hope to break away from following the show too closely, though there will continue to be a lot of similar elements. So yeah, with you not watching it, I tend to think you'll be far more surprised than those that do :) Again, thank you!! |

DOes he know (Sawyer I mean) and why wouldn't he tell the others is it black mail or somthing because that would be so like him lol good chappie.
Author's Response: I think Sawyer is trying to figure out Buffy for himself first ... he may or may not turn to blackmail then. Like I said, I'm planning on something of a twist with Sawyer that will still keep the fact his parents were killed, and he's spent his life trying to find their murderer, but it might just be something different that killed his parents - BUT don't quote me on it :) I don't write with any real plan, so everything is subject to change. We'll see ... hey, thank you so very much for the review. I greatly appreciate it!!! |

Good chapter! I was gonna ask where Locke was but i see Axel already did. You thinking about having Sawyer know about Vampires or something? And Buffy might as well give up on finding out what the monster is. All they've shown so far is smoke.
Author's Response: Hmm, maybe, maybe not about Sawyer. I just figure someone on the island has got to know what the deal (not to say Locke wouldn't because I think I've got something figured for him) ... But, who knows? Like I said, I just write so its totally impossible for me to predict where this is going. And yeah, woo-hoo we saw some freaking smoke in the season finale last year ... how cheap was that????? Great chapter, I wonder what Sawyer would do, if he find out about Buffy. I hope locke gets into it soon (Locke, Sawyer, and Sayied are my favoret Lost people) Keep it up.
Author's Response: I think there may be something of a twist coming up with Sawyer's character that doesn't follow the show, but I'm not entirely certain about that. Again, I don't really plan all that much until I get there. I totally love Locke too, but I'm having some trouble fitting him in just yet. There will probably be a small part including him shortly just to introduce him. After going over the Lost scripts, I noticed he didn't really play an enormous part until the episode (3rd or 4th maybe?) that showed him in the wheelchair. While I truly enjoy most of the characters on Lost, I have to agree Locke, Sawyer, and Sayid are among my favorite. Thanks so much for the review! I really appreciate it! |

Me again. sorry to bug you again, but I mean is Willow completly unable to use her power, because of the other power? Like say she was beging chased by bores, could she defend herself, with magic, or is she helpless?
Author's Response: Not a problem - especially since, well I left an incredibly long rant on your wrestling story, which you've probably noticed by now. Anyway, I honestly haven't really thought about it, but I'd say no, she can't defend herself with magic if a boar happened to attack. I think if she had any magical abilitiy, it would make life on the island far too easy. So, that leaves me with two options - either kill Willow off (which I don't want to do ... at least not in the near future anyway ... who knows about later??) or block her magic abilities. So, I'd say its more like the "other" power sensed Willow's, and, being the stronger of the two, immediately used a spell to incapacitate her powers so that there were no threats posed to this "other" power. I hope I'm making some sense - I know what I want to say, but it usually comes out messed up in writing. Hey, thanks again.
Author's Response: Oh, so I wanted to say also she hasn't "lost" them - meaning if they left the island tomorrow, she'd be her old Willow self. But on the island itself, her powers are being neutralized by something else. |

Ah,the scene with the pilot. I still remember it all too well. Anyways great chapter. I love how you had Andrew say Charlie was Merry. For a moment there I thought Kate was gonna say the same thing b/c I forgot about Driveshaft lol. Great job, update soon.
Author's Response: The Andrew thing was admittedly cheesy, in my opinion, but I just had to add it. It just seems like something he'd say, and it was just too tempting :) And damn, I could've had Kate say that - it would've been amusing - having him hope she'd be thinking Driveshaft, but she was thinking LOTR. Maybe someone else can say it - Hurley might be a good canidate for that line :) Hey, thanks so much for the review. I really appreciate it!! |

Great update. I'm loving this story more and more. Very interesting what you did with Willow. I was starting wonder how you were going to work that since she's a godess now and all you would think she could get them out of anything. Great way to block that...it would just be too easy. As always...I'm loving your work. Amazing job!
Author's Response: Before I read your review, it hadn't even occured to me about Willow being a goddess. I was just thinking more along the lines of her just being really powerful ... but good point. Great chapter! So has Willow lost all her powers, or just some of them? I wonder how long it will be, be for Locke figures out Buffy is a slayer (he figuers out everything) Good Job, and maybe the monster will eat Andrew (did I just say that?)
Author's Response: Hmm, I haven't really thought up a good explination yet for Willow's shortage of magic powers, but I don't think it's that she's lost them. I'm thinking more along the lines of there is something more powerful on the island that's canceling out her abilities - keeping her from making a connection to Kennedy and "calling" for help. And well, I gather you don't really like Andrew. I never had a problem with him, but truth is, maybe he will get the ax, just because I find it incredibly difficult to write for him. Hmm, and come to think of it, I haven't introduced Locke yet. For shame! I love his character - even though he's a little freaky at times. Yeah, he'd be the one to figure it out though. Thanks again for the review!! |

Great chapter. This makes me want to start watching Lost. I just never have time to have a show anymore. I'm afraid I would miss it a lot like I do with my current shows (Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, and Supernatural). Plus if I started watching it now I have a feeling I'd be very confused. My cousin's watch it though and I did want one episode and it seems really interesting. Anyway enough of my rambling. Great chapter, keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Yeah, definitely I'd have to say you'd be really confused if you jumped into the show now. Really, I tell everyone that if you didn't watch it from the first two or three episodes, you're just really not going to understand what's going on. Heck, half the time, us loyal viewers don't really know what's going on. But that's the fun part, I guess - speculating as to what the heck is going on on this island. I tend to stay away from too much TV too - definitely lack of time to get hooked on too many shows. Well, hey, thank you so much for the review - I enjoy reading people's perspectives who don't watch the show. Its very good. I really like that all the characters are in it. Awesome I mean it. I'll add it to my faves. I'm really interested to see where you take this and by the way I love the line about Andrew saying they were going to use the stakes for a LOTR movie. lol
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review - I really appreciate it. I've some ideas of where I'm going to go with it, but most of the time, I just write as I go, so we'll see. I'm not much of a planner. Glad you liked Andrew's input, though I have to say he's a tough little dork to write for! NNOOOOOO! ONT FAITH! HOW COULD YOU? yeah it sucks about Dawn to, but WHY FAITH? other than that Great story, your doing a good job balancing the characters. I'm looking forward to seeing were this goes. BUT WHY HER? NNNOOOO!
Author's Response: Oh, come on now ... I gather you watch Lost. So, you've gotta have some ... uh, well, faith that Faith isn't dead. Hmm, Ana-Lucia was a cop in LA; Faith was in prison ... could make for some interesting writing later on ... IF of course, Faith isn't dead, which, well, *sigh*, I'm terrible at keeping secrets, and I figure those who watch Lost kinda suspect at any rate. Thanks so much for the review!! |

Again great chapter. I love how you're weaving together the characters of Buffy with the ones from Lost. Its sad about Dawn and Faith..but if you're keeping with the show, they're more than likely alive. And I gotta ask..are you planning on killing Boone? I hated it when he died!
Author's Response: Ah, so as a Lost viewer, you have suspicions about whether or not Faith and Dawn are dead ... well, I can't give away anything yet ... so we'll just have to see :) As for Boone, I know it sucked when he died last season. His character was just starting to develop, and I was actually interested in his character - then they go and give him the ax! I haven't decided yet how true I'm going to remain to the Lost storyline as far as the Lost characters go ... if that makes any sense. Only time will tell :) Hey, thanks so much again for the review ... I really, really appreciate it!!! |
