Great job so far! I've been resisting reading this fic because of your warning, but since it is Christmas and I need something long and well-written to read, I decided to give it a try. Your many rave reviews gave me the push, and your prose did the convincing. Finally, I smell an explanation for the bathroom scene that I can live with! Don't know if I'm right about where you're going, but you've got me hooked, so I'll keep reading anyway. I really like all your characters (Spike, Buffy, Xander) so far. I especially think you nailed Season 6 Xander in Chap. 2, but thank goodness you have him realize what an ass he has been!
