So sad! (sniffles) Damon gave his life for Angel - that was so touching and of course so sad, but you really wrote it so perfectly - really conveying the emotion of the chapter wonderfully. Also, I have to say I really liked the lines from the Evanescence song in there - very well placed and it worked so well with that scene. For me, I could hear Amy Lee singing, and she has such a powerful voice that it really brought that scene to life even more. Again, so sad, but you really, really do know how to breath such life into a story - again, I feel like I'm there, seeing everything, feeling everything - feeling Angel's torment, Buffy's torment ... this is so beautiful and so very wonderful. This truly is such a joy to read, and I'm looking forward to more. Don't end it anytime soon! I can't wait to see what else the Night Ones have in store, and how Buffy and Angel will deal with them. As for Buffy's mom, that was also very sad, and it should be intense when Buffy finds out what really happened. So heres hoping you can update soon!!

I added those lyrics cuz i thought it would be so perfect to add to the sadness that the group was feeling when they lost Damon and im glad to see that it worked so perfectly well together. Words cannot express my gratitude for your kind words but they bring up a big smile on my face thank you soooooo much Angels Shadow. I will return the favor in your Phantom fic. i really super hope you'll update that fic really soon cuz i wanna so want to know what happens. As for Buffy's mother, Buffy herself will find out the horrfying truth behind her mother's murder by almost by the end of the fic and don't worry, im not ending this fic anytime soon. it will be a *long* fic. I promise i will update asap i already gotten some of the next chappie written. |

The tiger killed Buffy's mother! This chapter was so sad, I could feel Angel's sorrow as I read. Great update. Update soon!
Author's Response: lol i wish the tiger *did* kill Buffy's mother but it didn't he he. Buffy will learn almost by the end of the fic the terrifying, secret truth about her mother's murder that she never had found out. since the chappie i just posted earlier, Buffy has no clue as to what *really* happened during her mother's murder. im not gonna spoil anything, but at the end of the fic, there's gonna be a huge surprise in store for her. but that's all i gotta say he he. as for the sadness of the chappie, i wanted to add that in since the fic is almost dark when describe in detail and i wanted to add those sad feelings to it so im glad i did just that. Thank you very much Always Angel for the support you one of the best and i promise i will update ASAP!! |

Author's Response: lol sorry about the cliffhangers. i had to use them cuz they build suspense and all and as for the tiger, it is definitely *not* gonna be one of Angel's relatives. in fact, the tiger is the enemy here, a evil shapeshifter if i might add he he. thank you so much im glad you enjoyed the chappie and your definitely welcome on the shoutouts. i will post 3 more chappies later on as soon as im done with them. thanks so much Always Angel for all the support!! *smiles* |

OOO...Yeah, reveiws are for talking about the writing! i forgot. Well anyway, i want to tell you that ive always envied you power of description, right from the first fic of yours i read. You make everything seem real and unreal at the same time. Im not even close to being able to do that.

Thank you soo very much!! i have to say this though if you've been doing fics for a while then you're writing and creativity gets better and better with each fic like it happened to me. it takes a while to get used to the idea of writing and using alot of that creativity to make a fic but either way thank you for the compliments and as a fellow writer, i think you're doing such an awesome job on your fics and your writing. i think you really are amazing as a writer and i have to admit, i don't really like when my fellow authors tend to put themselves down when they're feeling uninspired. it makes *me* feel uninspired as well and plus inspiration i get comes from my love of books and the shows as well so you should try it sometime. it definitely works to a avantage. maybe sometime, me and oyu can work on a fic cuz i love to collaborate with fellow authors its really awesome. if you're interested in the idea, email me at moongoddess1892@yahoo.com. and thank you soo much for the comments and im happy that you're happy about the shoutout thing!! |

Awww!! Thank you so much!!! You have no idea how those kind words have completely brightened my day. Work was hell (well, like is it ever really fun???) but today was worse than usual. It really was so nice to come home, relax, and read those totally awesome words. Thank you!!! As for the chapter, well, what can I say? Again, its a wonderful update. That totally threw me for a loop about Damon - that was a fantastic twist that I never would've seen coming! I can't wait to see what implications that revelation has on the story as a whole. And, of course, since Buffy is the heroine of the story, I'm going to assume she'll be okay, but again with the cliffhangers!! You're killing me - lol :) But of course, its in a good way! I'm just really wrapped up in the story. Now, you just have to update really soon so I can read what happens next! Again, the details are beautiful - really giving the story a whole new dimension and really bringing it to life. So, now, quit reading my review and go write that update!! :)

This story is beautiful. The descriptions are so vivid and border on poetry. On top of that, you have a very eerie setting for a very suspenseful story. Each chapter left me wondering what would happen in the next, which made it impossible for me to stop reading. You manage to make the story sexy despite a lack of overt sex. Things as simple as the description of moonlight in trees have an erotic feel to them. Even some of the action sequences have a sexual kind of feel to them. This is such a great story and I’m glad it’s not completed yet. I’m looking forward to more chapters.

Again, fabulous chapter. I really, really do love this story so far. I can't wait to find out more about the Night Ones. Oh, and I can't wait to see who the new stranger is and when Buffy saw him before. Again, I love the shape shifter concept, especially since its not the usual werewolf fare. I love seeing werepanthers and werejaguars because its something so different and interesting. Everyone only ever seems to think of using werewolves and forgets that there are legends of people changing into just about every animal imaginable. Again, awesome fic ... can't wait for more :)

The shapeshifter concept is basically different and alot of people don't use it that much so i wanted to try it here. its always good to try something different and to make it stand out and all so im glad i made that possible. so far, in my opinion i think this is one of the best fics i have ever done. as soon as im done with this entire fic im gonna be saving it to a cd so i read it over and over lol!! werejaguars and werepanthers are words i have never heard of but thanx to you i have *smiles*. but anyways, im so happy for all of your support you have given me and i will definitely return the favor for you. im gonna be working on the next chappie soon so i will so update really soon. thank you Angels Shadow for your total support you rock!! |

| This chapter was great - really building up the tension and suspense there at the end. The woods, the mansion and the cloaked figures are definitely spooky - you've done a fantastic job at conveying that darkness there. Again, I really love this, so here I am going to read the next chapter now :) |

This is a fabulous chapter! I absolutely loved it!!! The idea of Angel being a shape shifter is fantastic and different. I once read a book - I think it was called the lost goddess maybe - where the hero was cursed to change into a jaguar until true love set him free - or something like that. Its been a long time since I read the book. Anyway, he saved the heroine at one point in the form of the jaguar before she realized that her lover and the jaguar were one in the same. So yeah, I loved the concept here - you did a really great job with it, and I'm so hooked. I cannot wait to read more, but unfortunately the next chapter will have to wait until tomorrow. I need sleep, and its overtime tomorrow - oh goody. But I will most definitely r&r the next chapter tomorrow, and maybe you'll have a new one up, so I can read two :) Again, great job, I love the story so far!!!
