Oh, wow, fantastic chapter!! Again, I can feel Buffy's angst - you write her emotional turmoil so perfectly and so descriptively it seems to leap off the page. As for the beginning of the battle ... what can I say? I'm excited - I can't wait to read more. This whole story has unfolded so well, and I cannot wait to see how the battle goes down. So here's me begging for an update soon!!

I have to admit, i didn't actually plan on adding Buffy's diary entries into the fic when i first started this but at the last moment i had decided to change my mind because i wanted to add the anxiety she was having right before the battle began because she or the other members never expected when or if the battle was gonna start so im really happy that by reading your awesome ass kicking reviews that i love to read so much, i decided to add the entries and im soooo glad to hear its going so well!! and don't worry i will definitely update soon!! the last chappies will be more longer than the last ones i submitted. will update asap!! thank you sooo much Angels Shadow for all of the support!! you truly are such a awesome reader and fellow writer!! |

Wow - intense chapter. Buffy's internal thoughts were really compelling. It leaves me with a very bad feeling about things to come ... I just know this is going to make me cry at the end, isn't it? Again, the words you use really convey Buffy's anxiety about the coming events, so much so that I can actually feel it. I'm scared for her, waiting to find out this other secret being kept from her. No doubt, it'll be an explosive revelation. Again, lovely story, and I'm so caught up in all of it. I'm really, really enjoying this more than words can say!!

You are one of the best!! at first i thought the diary entries wouldn't fit in with the rest of the fic but then again, i wanted to add what she was feeling because i wanted the readers to feel the anxiety and the nervousness about what's to come... and im glad that i did just that. and you are absolutely right about feeling that bad things are gonna happen because i have to tell you now bad things will happen as we near the end of the fic so like i said before do not expect a happy ending with this fic because i am not gonna give it to you!! he he *smiles wickedly* I'm waiting til the end to reveal the biggest secret because i wanted to build all the anxiety and drama and all that concerning how readers will think what the biggest secret is. Thank you thank you soo much Angels Shadow for all of the wonderful support you have given!! its totally beyond words that i cannot express because all i can do is smile and feel proud at the same time!! I'm so thrilled to see you updated!! I missed reading this story :( Anyway, again fabulous. I love how the story of the Night Wars and the Night Ones is unfolding, and I loved reading about what Buffy discovered about her mom. I think its so cool that she is a witch - a member of the Inner Circle - instead of being a Slayer. Its so cool to see her power reside in something else beyond slayer strength. The chemistry between her and Angel is just perfect - I absolutely love seeing them together!! I also really enjoyed the descriptives of this town - it makes it seem so real, like I'm actually there. Again, beautifully written and so intriguing. I can't wait for more updates, so I hope you'll post a new chapter soon!!!

The whole Buffy thing well... i do get somewhat tired that she's only made being a Slayer and nothing else so i wanted to try something different here instead of the usual Chosen One thingy. I so agree with her and Angel's chemistry. it does fit so well and im glad i had the chance to make it so. Thank you soooo much for all of the support you have shown Angels Shadow and i will definitely definitely post ASAP!! i have to say one thing to all of the readers.... im not gonna post spoilers cuz it will ruin my fic but i will say this: do not expect a happy ending in this fic anytime soon. i guess you can say the fic will have a very very sad ending but that's all im gonna say for now. i will for sure update!! |

Author's Response: Thank you sooo much Angels Shadow for the great support. yea i know alot of you guys are gonna be sad that i won't be updating but it won't even take that long for me to actually update. i made this decision only so i can finish the entire fic before im able to update. lucky for you though im a fast typer so im guessing the next update or chappie or whatever would be Monday or tuesday at the latest because i really do type that fast lol!! The rest of the weekend im spening most of my type finishing up this fic and if i do get it all finish by sunday or so i will prolly post it on that day or on monday but it depends on how lazy i get lol! again, thank you soo much Angels Shadow for all of your support because it makes me sooo happy to be seeing that. and please please update the Phantom fic really soon!!! Okay, your first sentence is awesome. I must have read it over and over like twenty times. The following sentences were just as beautiful, but I just didn’t have the time to give them the same attention. I loved the shout-out to “Restless”, which was probably my favorite episode. The beauty of the Buffy/Angel relationship, though under somewhat different circumstances, definitely permeates your story. And again, the language is just too, too beautiful. I can’t wait for the next chapter and am therefore sad it will be a long time coming. However, I’ll have to be content to reread the other chapters. Great job!

I love how you used the quotes from Buffy. They're from two of my favorite episodes so it made me happy to see them here. Not to mention it fit the scence perfectly like Angel's Shadow said. Fantastic update. Update again soon!

Again, what can I say except another fabulous chapter!!! I loved the quotes from Buffy - they were so perfect for this story and fit into the scene perfectly. The part between Angel and Buffy was just simply beautiful - I love that they are each other's soul mates. And I loved reading about the Night Ones, the Day Ones, and the Night Wars - so intriguing and I can't wait to find out more!! I like the addition of Kestrel - she seems pretty cool though I wonder about her transformation into the tiger - does this mean she was the one who attacked Buffy?? Oh, I know, I know, I'll just have to wait and found out :) Again, everything about this is so beautiful and so descriptive - I'm loving every minute. I really hope you can update soon.

I wanted to add the soulmate thing so it can makes things a bit more interested to add for the fic as for Kestrel and the tiger thing. i'll tell you this. She was not the tiger that attacked Buffy. Rather the tiger who did attack her was actually a spell done by a very important member of the Night Ones. i won't reveal his or her identity until the very end im afraid. And i wanted to make Kestrel a Day One because of her vampire and witch powers and her being a fighter and all. But anyways, im really appreciate all of the wonderful support you have shown and i will definitely return it!! More good news is that im planning on writing a sequel to this sometime next month and i have already gotten the title and plot written for all those who have enjoyed my fic so far. This chapter was awesome. Emotions ran high through the whole chapter and you could definatly feel them as you read. I liked that Angel got his revenge on The Night Ones. I just hope he lets Buffy help him. Update soon.

WOW - I absolutely loved this chapter - so emotional and every detail was perfect. Angel's pain was palpable - the loss of his brother must be devestating, and I can feel that in every word on the page. This was a fabulous update - so intense!! I hope that Buffy can reach him because it hurt that he pushed her away, but it is understandable under the circumstances. I hope she can help, and that he realizes he can love again. This was such a beautiful chapter, and I'm so amazed by the entire story - the descriptions, the imagery, the characters - everything is just fantastic. Again, you've used quotes and song lyrics at all the right times - enhancing the story rather than detracting from it. I've noticed quotes can sometimes get in the way of a story, but definitely not here! They simply add to it and put more power and intensity behind the story itself. I love your quote choices, and you placed them well. I really, really do hope there is an update around the corner. Again, I love this!!

I really love the characters you’ve created. That’s one of the reasons this chapter made me kind of sad. (That’s as spoilery as I’ll get). Again, the descriptions in the chapter bordered on poetry. (“the soft breeze along with the lifeless trees that seem to radiate life once more”). That, combined with the constantly mounting tension and the consistently developing plot, has me completely addicted and panting for more.
Author's Response: Thanks so much filmtheory. i wanted to add some sadness to somehow make this fic a bit dark and bleak in terms of the descriptive eerie scenes i added in and to make it seem like a reader is actually reading poetry instead of just reading a story by itself. lucky though i have completed the next chappie and i will post it by tomorrow since its so late right now. i wanted to bring in some sadness to make the readers feel sad as well so its really great to see im doing great with that as well. i thank you filmtheory for expressig those kind words which puts a smile on my face. i will update by tomorrow.
