Interesting - I'm really enjoying this so far. I can feel the pain and confusion Buffy must be going through, and that is the mark of a well written story. Though I admit I'm pro B/A, I'm also totally cool with B/S romances, and I look forward to seeing where you take this. Great job so far.

Upon reading this I find that your narrative skills are very good; you're describing the situation well. However, if I were you I'd incorporate this into one chapter. It would probably lead people to want to read the next chapter, whereas the first chapter here kind of makes me go, "Hm. Should I keep reading this?" Very little happens. At the end of the second chapter, the story starts to develop. If you made it the end of the first chapter instead, people would be more inclined to read on. You're doing well here. Keep writing. The story looks good.

it's pretty good, but I want more of a story, I guess that's what we'll get with the next chappie, I wonder what the light is, could it be Spike.... I'll just have to wait and see!
