Okay, I've said that already. But... seriously, you're just bringing everyone into this. It's incredible to me how you've incorporated everyone so smoothly. The chapters run together incredibly well; there are no hiccups in the reading at all. I'm really getting a sense for this.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and for reviewing. Part of the reason I wanted to write this story was to tie up a lot of loose ends the shows left. I really felt like the shows never developed Connor, Dawn, or Kennedy as well as they could have. After all, they weren’t the focus of the shows, so spending too much time developing them would be bad. Anyway, I wanted to give them a spotlight. Then, of course, I began thinking that Oz and Hank were pretty big loose ends as well. So now I want to bring them into the story as well.
Thanks for your comments on the chapters. I’m glad they’re congruent and run together well. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the story. |

Great chapter from start to finish. I loved Kennedy saying that line about flying tombstones before knocking Dawn out of the way. And Angel asking Buffy out for coffee ("It's the non-relationship drink of choice"). And Willow and Dawn talking about the usual Buffy/Angel drama. I like the way you've handled those two. Much as I love them, this story isn't about them, but you haven't ignored them either. So yay. And Connor sleeping in Emily's bed was so sweet. And Hank is back! Wow! Dawn is like accidentally prophetic. Only not.
Author's Response: I want to get Buffy and Angel together. I never really liked them as a couple until the show had Buffy go out with a parade of other losers (Scott Hope, Parker Abrams, Riley Finn, and Spike? Were they even *trying*?) But as you said, the story isn't about Angel and Buffy, so I needed to handle them quickly. As for the Willow/Dawn jokes, etc., I thought that was a nice way to harken back to the series. Having people joke about Angel/Buffy drama or try to figure out what would be for dinner after narrowly escaping death. I used to love those scenes on the show. When Conner wanted to sleep in Emily's bed, how sweet. He loved her a lot and he's sad. I'm sad. Another great chapter.

Wow, great chapter. I hope Buffy and Angel can finally have a happy ending..but they probably wont. I really felt for Connor this chapter and it made me tear up when he wanted to sleep in Emily's bed.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and for reviewing. Both are appreciated. I kind of want Connor to keep unwinding emotionally. Mostly because I'm a sadist. Just kidding. I just hate how, on the show, some characters died and it was tragic for about a week. I'd like the repercussions of this death to reverberate throughout the series (though not in every chapter/ episode of course). Thanks again for your continued reading! |

Great start of the chapter with Willow and Kennedy kissing each other passionately. I always find the both of them really interesting. I never expect Willow to be a lesbian in Joss Whedon series and I miss Tara so much. Connor still grieving with Emily's death. He such a devoted guy, well I guess he really love her. So..who's haunting Connor?? Hmm..good I like this kind of suspense, make me wanna read more..so pls next chapter, thank you :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Hot lesbian action is always a big draw, so I figured starting with a Willow/ Kennedy make out session was the way to go. Connor will continue to grieve for Emily. I hate how, on the shows, someone would die and after a short time it didn't seem to bother anyone. (After "Amends", does anyone remember any mention of Jenny Calendar?). However, he will eventually move on with his life. Provided, of course, that I write a second season. |

Buffy, and Angel finnaly get there happy ending, as long as nothing goes wrong (jinx) I was glad to see Kennedy beat up Connor (not that I don't like Connor, just after what he did to her, she deserved some payback) Keep it up.
Author's Response: Teh story really isn't Buffy and Angel's story. It belongs to Connor, Dawn, Willow, and Kennedy. I wanted to give them a happy ending if I could, but I don't plan on following them off into the sunset. Unlike Connor with Kennedy, Kennedy hurt Connor for his own good, not revenge. So in a way, Connor may still have some payback coming. |
