OMG this is so sad! You guys are killin me here! Buffy hasn't even gotten to see her son yet. This is soooo sad and I feel so bad for poor Angel. I really really hope Buffy wakes up soon and stays up! I don't know how much more of this poor Angel can take. =(

Great chapter! The beginning is appropriately serious and foreboding (when isn't Angel's life like that?), but it leads in nicely to that scene at bronze way back in season 1. It's all very well-written, and i hope the next one comes out soon!

As always I love this you guys! The fact that they named the baby Connor was great because Angel obviously likes that name. The poor guy though. Not only is he a teenager with a baby but now he's a single parent for a while. I hope Buffy comes to soon although it is always fun to see how things happened again. Great job and can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I hade to name the baby Connor, Angel named his only son that and I couldnt change it. I just loved that episode, one of my fav.'s and I was hoping to be able to incorporate it in one of my fics. This gave me the perfect shot. Glad you are liking it and thanks again for your review. |

| I like how you shifted into the "normal" life of Buffy (the one we didn't see on the show, where she's not a slayer). It does a great job showing us who she really is within your story. |

| As if this needs to be said yet again, this is easily one of the most original stories I've seen. Yes, I k now you're launching off As if this needs to be said yet again, this is easily one of the most original stories I've seen. Yes, I know you're launching off of an episode of Buffy (I forget what it's called), but you're stretching it in new and wonderful directions. I love how you work in the characters from the show into Buffy's real life. Science fiction is always at its best when it's metaphorical. The show Buffy was a metaphor for high school and, in its later years, growing up. Instead, you two have taken that same story with the same characters and spun in it into a very poignant tale about a very sick girl. Wonderful, wonderful story! |

I had a couple e-mail buddies tell me this story was good, so I thought I'd check it out. Okay, they told me it was AWESOME. But I didn't believe them. Until, of course, I read it. Great story. I remember the Buffy episode that kind of had this plot, I forget the name. But that was just one episode. Picking up the whole idea and runnign with it is an awesome idea and this story, at least so far, completely does the idea justice. This is so great. Can't wait to read more.

Awww...Angel is soooo sweet. I hope everything will be ok with Buffy though. She can't have a break down when shes about to have a baby she just can't! Hang in there Buffy! You can do it.
