Again as always...great chapter! I too am enjoying the Cordy / William blossaming. It's understandable that she would need some time but I'd be happy to see them together in the future. I also loved the conversation between Buffy and Willow. It was the perfect seen to let the readers know that Buffy and Willow are still really just kids and their starting to grow up and it's all happening really fast. I think thats where you were trying to go with it at least lol. Either that or I just look way to far into the deeper meanings of things. But anyway another amazing chapter and I look forward to reading your next update now that I'm all caught up. Again I can't say it enough...great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much - I'm glad you liked the scene between Buffy and Willow, and that was what I was trying to go for, so I'm so happy you saw it. But I just think thats so much like real life. One day, you're a kid with no worries, and then it just seems like all of a sudden you're an adult. Life goes by so fast, and I think it hits you before you even realize it - like with Buffy and Willow. It feels like just yesterday, they were playing with dolls and now all of sudden they're talking about love and in the process of catching a murderer - losing that childhood naivete that people are inherently good. Again, THANK YOU so much. I appreciate it more than words can say. You have no idea how much I smiled reading your reviews :) |

Ok first of all...DO NOT even worry about weather or not the big plan will live up to everyone's expectasions because I know it will. Your an amazing writer and if theres one thing you don't have to worry about it's people being disapointed with your work. This story is amazing and I can't wait for the big moment not because I hope its going to be good but because I know its going to be good. Ok now that I got that off my chest back to this chapter. I really like the Cordy/ Willam thing. I hadn't even thought about it until this chapter but I think they would be really cute and Cordy needs someone in her life that is into her for her it seems like William really is. I also loved Faith in this. I was sad to see that your note said she probably wouldn't be in the story anymore. I'd love to see her character again. Again as always...great job!

Entertainment - for everyone else's enjoyment. Yeah, after it kinda came out there in that scene, I enjoyed expanding on William and Cordy's relationship. Its really sweet and cute, and I agree Cordy needs someone in her life who will make her trust the world again. As it turns out, I'm writing the next chapter now, and I do mention Faith, and she and Derek may actually make an appearance at the end, though I'm not making any promises just yet :) I'm so glad you like it, and thank you again a million times over!! |

Another great chapter. The weather in Vermont actually wasn't that bad. I thought it was going to be very cold but on Saterday we were in T-shirts. It was a beautiful weekend to go up there and my friends and I had a great time. Thank you for asking. I really think you did a good job with the Cordy and Riley seen. I know it must have been pretty hard to write but I think it was importent to the story line to show how much of an ass Riley really is. Plus it was great having Angel finally get to kick his sorry ass lol. Anyway another great chapter as usual. I'm so glad I've finally had the time to catch up on your story. Great stuff and there's more review where this came from. I printed out the past 4 chapters and I intend to review on each one =)
Author's Response: So glad you had a good time! I wish I could go on vacation again - my husband and I just came back from Niagara Falls a month ago. Short vacation, but its always so nice to get away. Anyway, I really appreciate the awesome review! It was a difficult scene to write, but I did feel it was necessary to an extent. I just really wanted to create a villain that has no redeeming qualities. I don't want people to feel in the least bit sorry for him when he gets his in the end ... which I think I've probably pretty much accomplished :) Again, thank you so much - I really, really appreciate it! |

OMG...this is the first time I have read this story and wow... I'm sorry I didn't read this sooner, You definitely have me hooked. I really love the chemistry between William and Cordelia and your description writing is really awesome. You definitely have me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for more!!!

yay its so good to gee that Cordy and William shared a sweet kiss. i hope they will really get together as do Alexander and Willow. they need to get together. Great idea - the phantom and Angel are so similar, which I had never realized before. They both have tragic pasts which affect their present self, are in love with a girl they aren't supposed to have, and have huge brooding, angsty issues! So far, definitely an engaging fic!

i was just thinkin...me...A BABY MACHINE?!?!?!?!?!? Its kinda scary. I think ill stay in the 21st century. (yeah, took me a long time to get to this conclusion, but i was sleepy before!!!)If i lived back then id put on pants and live my life as a guy.

Funny how I never thought to include her, but then it just kinda popped into my head and there I was typing it out :) As for William and Cordy, again that wasn't something I had originally thought about until that final scene just came out. After that, and after reading everyone's reviews, I've decided that I will expand on it some. As I wrote, there just seemed to be something that clicked with them even though I'd never intended it to happen. But that's what I love about writing - when you surprise yourself with something you never intended! Thank you so much again - I really appreciate it!! |

I agree with the other readers. i really liked the chemistry that's building between William and Cordy i hope something serious will grow between them. As for that pig Riley, i only hope he'll be getting a serious ass kicking really soon lol!! I can totally relate to Faith. Like her, im opinionated, feisty, not afraid of speaking my mind and that's what i really love about her so im really happy you decided to add her in the chappie even if she's only gonna appear once. i can;t even imagine how the women back then had to act like their their husbands' slaves doing everything for them. the thought of that totally way beyond disgusts me lol!! but as always, i really love how the chappies are building up to the most exciting part all of us readers are expecting. You are doing a truly tremendous job on this totally awesome fic and im looking forward to reading the next great chappie so please please update soon!!

I don't take orders, and I certainly have my own mind. It would've sucked to have been raised just to be a good wife, which was all those women were taught. As I responded in an earlier review, I can only pray that I live up to the hype. Of course, a part of me is pleased that I've built such expectations because that means I'm doing what I should be doing. But, the other part of me lives in fear that the ending will somehow fall flat on its face because expectations are too high, and its my fault for making them that way. So, okay, everyone, expect less and you'll get more :) lol, anyway, I truly hope I can write the big showdown and please everyone. For all the time you've dedicated to reading and reviewing (which I appreciate more than words can say), you deserve something big, and I just hope I can make it happen! |

man.....with all this hype about the big show down I'm getting antsy about it, and not to sound mean or anything but I really hope it's as good as you're hinting it to be....but i don't have any real worries because everything else has been amazing so far
Author's Response: Oh, believe me, I'm getting antsy about writing it :) But, I want to keep moving everything at an even pace. I didn't want to just introduce the plan and have the next chapter be the masquerade. I mean, it isn't as if I'm going to follow the story through the next two months - there will be a small jump in time coming up because well, if I didn't, it would take entirely too long to write. I guess it just makes everything seem so much longer because instead of having a finished story, you only get bits and pieces updated every few days. And believe me, I'm very nervous about living up to the hype. If there is one thing I dread, its building this up and then letting all my loyal readers and reviewers down. You guys have all been so good to me with all the wonderful reviews, so here's praying I live up to the expectations! Again, I thank you for all your input. You've been great and I appreciate the time you've taken to read and review. I can only hope I don't let you down because that would honestly be the biggest disappointment for me. I write to entertain and to please, and if I'm not doing that, then I'm not doing my job. Thank you again!! |
