OH MY GOD! This chapter was so powerful! I can't believe that he killed Jenny! He really is a bastard.I Hate him! I hope nothing happens to Willow and the others but I have a feeling that somebody else besides Riley is going to die. Please please please update soon, I'm going crazy here!
Author's Response: Thank you so much - I'm so glad you liked it. As I told BelovedSlayer, I debated heavily over Jenny, finally deciding it just wouldn't be realistic if the good guys didn't suffer some losses. Hmm, I can't really say if there will be anymore death ... can't spoil anything :) I've started the next chapter, and I'll most likely have something up within the next day or two. The holiday kinda threw my writing schedule off big time. Thanks so much again for all the wonderful support!! |

Wow!! The only thing i can say is that the beginning of the chappie was really truly beautiful and the lyrics were beautiful as well. but i couldn't help being saddened at the fact of what had just happened to poor Madame Calendar. i only hope that the bastard vicomte will get his really really soon after the horrible thing he had just done to her. What a evil, sick bastard no doubt. This was such a marvelous chappie just like the rest of your fabolous, and marvelous fic Angels Shadow. You are truly doing such a excellent job and i will always continue to give my support to one of my fave fics that is yours. You are truly talented!! you must please update soon because i cannot wait to see what happens next!!!
Author's Response: Again, I can't thank you enough for all your kind words. I think all the great reviews really inspire me to write faster :) I debated a long time about Jenny, and finally decided it just wouldn't be realistic for the good side not to suffer losses. We're definitely down to the end, so the vicomte will be getting his shortly. I've started the next chapter, but I've a ways to go yet before it can be posted. With Thanksgiving, I've been a little busy, but I'm hoping to have it up by the end of the weekend. Yesterday and today might be busy, but tomorrow and Sunday are clear :) I'm glad you enjoyed the lyrics to the song - Point of No Return is one of the best songs out of Phantom ... though I think I tend to say that about all the songs ... oh well! Again, I truly, truly appreciate your support, and I cannot thank you enough!! It means so very much to me!! |

WOW! This was great! I can't wait for the next chapter and to see how this all pans out! Oh I forgot to mention how lucky you are to get to see the opera live. I've always wanted to. If only it would come to Florida! *sigh* Update soon please.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I really appreciate all your support. The "finale" will take at least two chapters, possibly three to write. But yeah, at long last we're near the end! Oh, and you should've seen me trying to order tickets for Phantom. The day they went on sale, I couldn't get through to the box office - the line was busy, and I tried for an hour straight. The online thing was messed up because there were so many people ordering tickets, so the server was overloaded. I swear I was ready to start throwing things. It's in January so now my luck will be that we'll get a blizzard up here that day. I hate snow - I really need to start flying south for the winter. Oh well, my dog is part husky ... I'll just hook him up to a sled and sled ride my way there :) Hey, thanks again so much for all the great reviews!!! They keep me writing :) |

Wow!! the chappie was simply beautiful and sad at the same time because it made me feel Angel's own pain at what he is and his appearance but just reading this makes me feel soo excited in anticipation for the grand finale. i cannot wait to read that that bastard pig Riley will finally get his. this is truly such a beautiful and marvelous fic you have done Angels Shadow. You must please update soon!!!
Author's Response: Oh yeah, Riley getting his is definitely around the corner ... at long last. It's been a long time coming, so here's me praying I can make the grand finale happen in a way that will make everyone happy. I'm so glad you liked the part with Angel, and that you were able to feel what he was going through - for some reason that was a tough scene for me to write, and I have no idea why. OOOOOOOO...Powerful stuff.This is one of those chapters when that i usualy dont reveiw because there are no words to describe it and i end up rambling. I like the sound if my own voice...or is it the look of my own reveiws. Whatever. This is like the calm before the storm i guess? In many books, parts like this fall short for me, but this was nicely done. Bravo.and more importantly...ENCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG....I'm so addicted to this story, you are really doing amazing job. Your writing is truly amazing, I don't think I have been this excited over a story for a long time. I have to say it I really hate Riley and I hope he gets it at the end. Please update soon I'm really excited for more!!

i agree completely with lessthanangelic1. that riley bastard really does pisses me off. he's sooo... arrogant which i really really hate and i completely know how Madame Calendar and William feels about him. i would want to see him myself get shot in the heard or something. gggggrrrrrrrr!!! lol!! but anyways, as always i am soo glad and happy that you have updated for the second time today because im anxiously waiting to see the final showdown take place really really soon. as a result, im gonna be posting another chappie of my fic up right now. its a thank you from me to you for all of the constant support you have given me Angels Shadow!! And i really hope that maybe after Phantom we can work on a fic together or something. Awesome and excellent job as always. Please update soon!!

Just reading this beautiful chappie makes me fall more in love with your entire fic Angels Shadow. I really really love reading the part about the masquerade. its so beautiful, yet elegant at the same time. For one second, i had the urge to bitchslap Riley. i cannot believe how arrogant and more of a selfish pig he has become. im so looking forward to the chappie where he finally get his. i really do hope the final chapter will finally come really really soon but im only gonna say that you are doing such an excellent, fantastic job on your beautiful fic. since i keep saying that so many damn times, i can't even express in words any more how much i love your fic. You keep me writing :) Well, the plan is in motion, so the final chapter should be on its way in the very near future, but, again, I'm not going to put it in terms of chapters because most of the time I just write without a plan (which usually isn't the best of ideas) and whatever comes out, comes out. A part of me feels kinda bad because in Phantom, Raoul was so not an ass, but then, this wouldn't have been much of a story without a true villain for everyone to hate. I really liked this chapter. As always it was fantastic and beautifully written.The scene at the masquerade is one of my favorites in the movie so I was glad to see you stick it in your version..Please please please update soon, I'm dying to see what happens next.
Author's Response: I always enjoyed the masquerade scene too - it is one of the best ... but then, the whole movie was so damn good its difficult to say which scene I liked the best :) Since I've only ever seen the movie and heard the soundtrack, I'm so thrilled Phantom is coming to Pittsburgh, and I've got tickets 10 rows back - yeah, I can't wait for that :) My husband will probably fall asleep 5 minutes into it, but oh well. I know I'll enjoy it! Yeah, so me ranting - I tend to do that a lot. As always, thank you bunches and bunches for all the wonderful reviews and all the support. Author's Response: Oh, and I meant to say that no, the brief scene with Giles and Jenny means nothing. While I loved their relationship in the show, I think at this point I have enough romantic involvements going on in the story and one more would just make it too difficult, I think. |
