| Poor Buffy. First she bring out Angelus. Then she gives birth to the AntiChrist. And she tries so hard. And ofcoarse Oz doesn't painic. He wouldn't be Oz LOL. Good job. |

| You really have Angel’s internal anguish down perfectly. Buffy is the person who heals Angel, but also who puts his soul in danger. He wants to be with her, but knows that puts her in danger and he can’t give her the future she deserves. I’m also glad you deal with Angel’s torment at having killed Jenny. The show kind of skirted around that after “Amends.” But of course, your last sentence sums it up. The heart wants what the heart wants. One can only hope that the heart will catch up with the mind and let go of the impossible, but for Angel the dream of them still survives. What a BRILLIANT title for your story. |

Author's Response: Thanks so much! As you can probably tell, I haven't updated in awhile. There's no other way of saying it - I've pretty much just slammed headlong into a brick wall with this story. The thing that's frustrating is that I know where I want to go, I'm just not getting there. For some reason, everything is coming out wrong in the next chapter I've tried writing. This is another great chapter. Your exploration of Anya and how she's new to humanity was better than anything they did with the character on the show. I like that Giles is insightful enough to realize that Will and Buffy are hiding something, but not so insightful that heknows what or is even sure they are hiding somehting. that's pitch perfect for Giles. Keep going. the next chapter cna't come soon enough for me.

Again, I truly admire your work - you're a fantastic author, and I truly appreciate such kind words - you have no idea how much :) Anya was always one of my favorite characters, and, for some reason I always felt she was so misunderstood. I mean, c'mon it can't be easy being a demon for 900 hundred years and then suddenly be thrust back into a human life! I really am so happy you think I'm staying true to the characters - that's my biggest concern in writing fanfic ... well, unless its totally AU in which I feel anything goes. But, since this isn't, I worry about remaining true. As it sits now, I'm having immense writer's block when it comes to this story. I've tried writing the next chapter, but nothing seems to come out right. I hate writer's block ... well, who doesn't?? Oh, and hey, thanks for the email about the typo. I try to edit everything before I post it, but its tough trying to edit your own work - you usually don't see everything, so I really appreciate any corrections! Thank you so much again for all the great, supportive comments!! |

Awww- Oz and Willow. I forgot about them. Just as I am, Buffy and WIll are wondeirng what is dream and what is . . . well, dream, but kind of real. Confsuing! But good!!! I hope Buffy and Angel get back together. But I know that they probably won't. Besides- the dreams are ever so sexy and real life sex would mess that up. Great chapter!
Author's Response: Willow and Oz were really always one of my favorite couples. I was disappointed to see Seth Green leave the show. I'm thinking this might eventually be Buffy and Angel's happy ending, but I'm not making promises. When I originally started this story, that was the plan, but who knows once I get there? I may change my mind, or the course of the story may change. I won't know until I actually get something written which (grrrr) I'm having a very difficult time with right now. Again, thank you for all the wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate it!! |

| Very cool story. It has me wondering which people are in the dreams and which are just a part of the dream. The story keeps getting more and more intriguing, but that makes sense, considering a walk through Buffy's brain has t be confusing. Great story. Can't wait to see where this latest path will take Willow. |

Author's Response: sigh, I know, I know. Believe me, it isn't for lack of trying. I really, really shouldn't write more than one story at once. Most of my focus is on Phantom, but I've also got an actual novel I'm rather close to finishing (God, to be published ... I can only dream right now). Plus, I've been coughing up a lung and feeling pretty crummy for the past week - doctor's tomorrow (my coworkers are convinced I have pneumonia). While I highly doubt that, I still haven't been feeling quite up to speed, and I doubt the Halloween parties over the weekend helped, especially cuz the one had a bonfire, so we're all outside in freaking Pittsburgh, PA at the end of October. yeah, not too smart. So yeah, I know I've got too many excuses. I've tried, but I just can't get anything out for the next chapter. I start it, I hate it, I toss it. Its not that I don't know where I want to take it, it's just that I'm having a hard time getting there. Hopefully, this weekend should be relatively calm without the usual five million things to do, so I might get something done then. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, really I am. |

Glaaaaaaah! What a lovely twist! This story is positively fantastic-- everyone's true to character, the multiple plots add layers, and I'm always a fan of anything Buffy/Angel oriented! I can't wait to see where this is going!
