I'm a bit surprised that Kennedy went to college. I thought she was only 17 or 18 in season 7.
Author's Response: Supposedly in the script, they put Kennedy's age at 20 to keep Willow from being a cradle robber. Still, just to be sure, I never said Kennedy *graduated*. |

Great chapter. The parts with Connor's family were really well done. And the bit between his two dads was great. I'm also glad for the little mention of Angel wanting to talk to Buffy, but knowing he shouldn't. That's the two of them in a nutshell. And he and Nina breaking up because of human problems is great too (well, not great for them, but you know what I mean). The "normal" problems are always the worst. I'm also glad Willow and Kennedy are still together, even though I'm not really a big fan of them. It's still nice to see a story where they're sticking together.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and for the review. I always wanted to concentrate more on the Reilly's and have that human drama that Buffy would have between her and her mother. I worried the exchange between Laurence and Angel would be overdone, so I'm really glad you liked it. I'm really committed to putting Willow and Kennedy through the ringer, yet keeping them together. Next "season" will have even more emotional issues for them. However, as you inferred, most fanfic stories immediately have Willow and Kennedy splitting up. I really want to go against the grain on that and keep them together, if for no other reaosn than just to be different. Thanks again! |

Another great story. Well written family part.. Conner/Colleen [however her name is] Conner's acting pretty mature abou this situation. Good.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I want Colleen to be Supermom. I mean, if Angel made a deal with the devil, he needs to get Connor Supermom, right? And Connor may be mature now, but he'll unravel soon. I promise. |

Hi again, another one of your good stories. Keep it up. I like the conversation of Connor with his adopted mother, Colleen. She tried to comfort him and convince him that his girlfriend's death wasn't his fault. That's what mothers always do right which is very sweet of her. Wow didn't expect Angel to sob in front of Laurence. Angel must be really worried about Connor. Hmm..so next chapter pls but no rush =) Tks!
Author's Response: Thanks for another one of your good reviews :). I really enjoy writing the family scenes, so the Connor/ Colleen scene was a favorite of mine as well. Angel sobbing, well, he's human now and should probably start acting like it. |

What did Amy know, She's never say. And Connor finaly excepts his Destiny, We think. Great chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Amy tried to say what she knew, but it didn't work out for her. You're close on the Connor thing. He's accepted what he believes is his purpose, but as Amy said, his destiny is yet to be decided. |

This is one of my favorite stories on this site and this update is not a let down. Thank you for Amy, by the way. After her tricks in The Killer In Me, I always enjoy her getting what's coming to her! Also, thank you for keeping Willow and Kennedy together. I hope they work out any problems in the coming chapters. Impatiently waiting for the next part, so hurry please!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Glad to hear this is one of your favorite stories. I was afraid that the big action opening and the slow, emotional ending would be a bad juxtaposition. Unfortunately, too much is about to happen for me to mix anything in with this chapter. I’ll actually miss Amy. She was one of my go-to villains. Still, every villain must have her day. As for Willow and Kennedy . . . stay tuned. |
