Wow - you have me so hooked. And the part with Connor and Eve - "I decided on the left" - so well done, yet sufficiently chilling at the same time. And the fact that Angel is still alive ... well, that's just making the story 100 times more interesting (if that's even possible, considering this story was already off the charts before that scene). And yes, while I love Buffy and Angel, that SO isn't the reason I'm excited to see him alive. I'm just telling you this so you don't think, oh, another BA shipper who just wants to see their happy ending. NO, that is not it at all! Truth is, I couldn't care less right now whether or not they even see each other for the rest of the story (which is inevitable, I suppose), but you just have me so wrapped up in everything else that's going on with Connor, Janice, Wolfram & Hart, etc. And the implications of the Connor/Angel relationship - well, that should make for some explosive reading, no doubt. Again, need I say this is wonderful? I can't wait for more, so here's hoping you update soon!!
Author's Response: I think Connor is, or at least should be, a chilling character. He’s morally confused and came from a hell dimension. What part of that isn’t creepy? As for Angel, yeah, he has to be alive, doesn’t he? I mean, that’s like 88% of Connor’s angst. What fun is a Connor story if it’s 88% angst free? Thanks again for reading and reviewing. Again, I'm totally intrigued by this story. The fight in the arena was completely riveting - you really have a way of making the action come alive. I've always loved Faith, so I'm thrilled she's involved, and I truly did love the "I forgot." That is completely Faith right there. Again, this is one of my favorite fics so far - I can't say again how much talent you have at really bringing a story to life.

I love Faith, too, so she’ll probably be in this more than other slayers. Oh, and please keep writing that I’m talented. If I read that enough times, maybe I’ll actually believe it- LOL. Seriously, thanks again for reading and reviewing. It’s nice to know someone besides me likes the story.

3 cheers for Connor, he finally made the big escape, good for him. So Angel didn't die and I'm so glad that he didn't. So all the while, he has been locked up by Wolfram and Hart, so that's where the missing pieces are. I want another chapter and thank you for updating =D

You think I'd have a series about Connor and not keep around the person with whom the main character has his most important and dramatic relationship? Long question. Sorry. Yay he's alive! But Connor doesn't seem too happy. I'm glad he got Eve! She got on my nerves. Hope you update soon. oh and by the way, are you going to be updating Running On Faith anythime soon?
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. Another update of Runing on Faith is in the works, but I'm having problems with the next chapter. "He" is alive. After all, that helps create conflict which creates drama. And of course, Connor isn't happy "he" is alive, because that helps create drama, too. As for Eve, I have a feeling she's going to be pissed about that ear. |

So he's alive (I won't say, but you know who I mean) Eve got of better than I thought she would, but then it's not over yet. By the way, why is she still there? didn't they fire her? Great chapter, and I'll take your word on the triva.

Hey dude, you updated it already..thanks man!! I really love this chapter cos its getting interesting. I like the part where Buffy found out that Connor is Angel's son whereby she got so worked out and the best part was Faith response "I forgot." By the way, Angel died. Really?? Seriously?? I thought he survived the Black Thorn..okay. Anyway, I was thinking is Connor really invincable, I mean he was tortured for like 3 hrs and Dr. Corvino made him bleed more than he can goes and still Connor was not unconsciousness..Wow not bad for a spawn of 2 vampries heh! Ya good story, good chapter, keep up the good job. When I was reading this chapter, I was really anxious and excited, then when I was done, I wanted more...so next chapter please and thank you =D

Great chapter. I almost feel sorry for Eve (almost) Connor may turn her, into Helen Keller. By the way, please tell me, your not jumping on the hate Riley wagon. I've never really been a Riley fan, but have you seen some of the things writen about him lately? I'm starting to feel bad for the guy, LOL! Anyway, keep it up.

Great update. I really liked the fght with the werewolves. I hope Connor escapes soon and gets Eve. She really really deserves it.

Very intense. How will they find Janice and now Connor. I like that Dawn has taken control. She is made from Buffy and should be as strong I always thought. Great work.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I hope the story was intense in a good way. Dawn on the show was annoying but, like Connor, the show never took her character as many places as it could have. Short version: Expect to see more of strong Dawn. |

I was just starting to like Diane, Damn! And I loved the line about Buffy, and the SAT's, though I'm not sure if it was meant as a joke, it was funny. Keep it up.

Intriguing update. Poor Diane though, but I'll be interested to see what the deal is with the commandos. Oh, and I love the nod to Buffy's movie watcher Merrick. Again, nice job - your style of writing makes for such exciting, enjoyable reading!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. As I mentioned elsewhere, if this were an actual show, I’d have put Diane in the opening credits just so I could be like Joss. The nature of the commandos will be revealed in the next chapter. After all this is Connor’s story, so we’ll have to follow him. That means we get to meet his captors. I’m glad you liked the Merrick shout-out. Now all I need is Ben Affleck playing basketball and Stephen Root saying that if people don’t go to detention, he’s going to burn the building down. Okay, now I’m referencing a film besides BtVS, but the opening was there. (Stephen Root was the principal in the Buffy film, but the burning building threat was from another movie). |
