Hey. It's been a long time since I've been in touch with this fandom, but for sure my Connor adoration hasn't faded. So here I am again.
Wow. Your stories portraying him are amazing.
I just read The Destroyer again. It is so great. So emotional. And your Connor is so well done, such a well shaped character, not like what they did to him in that awful show.
I adored so many moments in your story... when Angel tried to throw himself into the sunlight... Suffer, you damn vampire I was shouting! And then the hurtful words Connor told him. He so deserved them. I will never forgive him for all the ways he wronged that child.
And you Buffy. I've always hated her and in this story you gave me even more reasons to do so. I'm glad she felt so freaking guilty. She is. I even hate Angel a little less when he told her that thing about taking revenge for her unrequited "high-school crush".
And Faith... I'm always torn when it comes to her. I guess I hate her or like her according to how he acts towards Connor. I loved it when he told her: "Only one problem... I don't want you." Ha-ha. I just can imagine her face.
What else did I adore? Oh, right. The ear things. Even I got the creeps.
And the fights. Full action Connor. And now he's an even better killing machine, knowing how to handle technology and other tactics.
I hope I see more of this story very soon, because I'm such in a Connor kick right now. By the way, as soon as I have the time for it, I will dive into Campus Life. It looks pretty promising, although I fear there will be some kind of romance between Dawn and Connor, which I don't like ver much, although her character is one of the few I don't hate.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. It’s always nice to know there’s at least one other person out there who likes Connor. I’m glad to know you think I’m doing the character justice. I’m trying very hard to have a balanced mix of action and emotion, so feedback that I did is not only appreciated, but it totally makes my day. I agree that Angel was a pretty bad father, but that came a great deal from inexperience. I don’t doubt that Angel loved Connor, he just seemed to do a horrible job actually interacting with the kid. Still, I think a story about redemption (whether you mean the show {“Angel” or my story) shouldn’t give up on characters who, at their core, are good. That’s why the show shouldn’t have given up on Connor and why I’m not giving up on Angel. As for Buffy, yeah, she too acted like a brat. But when push came to shove, she too stepped up. As for the action, there should be more of that. Not only are Angel and the watchers hot on Connor’s trail, but he’s got the military and Wolfram & Hart. Maybe I can throw in a couple other people just for kicks. So hopefully, we’ll get to see that Connor army-training action in the near future.
I hope you enjoy “Campus Life” as much as “The Destroyer.” Thanks again for reading and for the review. I tremendously appreciate both. |

Grat story. I'm getting the felling, you don't like the Scobbies, Since Janice, and Connor seem to be treated bad, by them Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway Keep going. please.

I like the chinese man whose daughter that Connor had saved, he's really sweet as to provide food for Connor. So Janice was fired for some secret mission huh and poor girl, she didn't know a thing. The last few sentences that Connor had said to Angel, that was 'Ouch', but I don't think he really meant it right, I mean he kinda did, i think it was more like piss off with Angel for everything but still 'Ouch' for Angel. Well, I do hope that Connor will be able to let Angel into his life, after all Angel is his real father right and this time Angel better not throw him aside. I hate it when he does that, you know. So anyway, as usual, love the chapter!! =D
Author's Response: I like the Chinese guy, too. I want to keep him aorund a bit, but Connor really can't stay in LA too much longer. I think Berkeley may be a temporary home for hm for a little while. Yeah, Connor went a bit "Argh" on Angel there. But Angel has pushed Connor away and rejected him enough times that I think the kid's owed one or two shoves back. |

I found this story very good. I like the part where Angel said that '“I’m applying for college". I think there was a 94yr. old man who was going to college, which, to marvel at it.
Of course I know, that was Angel's sarcasim and I thought it was funny. I liked the feeling I get from the story. It's like, Conner's the top man, him not having the memories of the fake life makes him wild, then the military training makes him cooler.

Great chapter! I like the part, where Buffy said Connor was in trouble to. Makes you wonder why he didn't turn, when Connor was born.
Author's Response: I always wondered why Angel didn't turn when Connor was born. You'd think the sight of your newborn (miracle) child would just be so overwhelmingly happy no matter what else was going on . My only guess would be that they wer ein an alley, Holtz was after them, and the kid's future was very very uncertain. That may have dilluted Angel's happiness enough to keep him form experiencing "true happiness." Thanks again for the review. |

This Chapter had a nice pace to it! Janice is stuck to Connor and vice versa, ^^! Mason sending something or someone after Connor, wonder what?! Enjoyed the little background on Connor in season 4 and his internal thoughts about Mason and W&H seemed very realistic and very Connor-like.
"The man had given Connor more guidance in one breath than anyone had since Holtz." Sad but true! There was always something off when they gave him advise, at least that’s mine opinion!! Great Chapter!!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. Since it's a Connor-centric story, I want to kind of explore how he lived on his own and maybe drum up some sympathy for the poor kid. And yeah, not a whole lot of people spent much time talking to Connor or telling him how to live and interact with people. I hope to have more of the Chinese guy, but I don't know how much longer Connor can realistically stay in LA. |

Phew!! He's still alive!! So now a secret section of the government is after Connor, way cool! I defenitly got the Nikita feeling with a paranormal touch to it, creepy. I wonder how they plan to retrive him, they could sent some kind of special force after him?!
And the start of the story were Angel is grieving over his son, blaming Buffy and Buffy trying to redeem her self, seemed very realistic to my! And well in character!
Poor Connor though hunted by every one, he so needs a friend mabye Janice can help, I like what your doing with her character! Great update!
Author's Response: Of course he’s still alive! How could I have a Connor story without Connor? I was glad you got the Nikita reference. I was definitely going for that. Of course, now that portion of the story- the military stuff- will probably be a little more like the show “24.” So yes, the army will now join the Watcher’s Council and Wolfram & Hart in hunting Connor. Buffy will continue to try to redeem herself in Angel’s eyes. I hope you keep reading. |

Before I actually review, I wanna wish you Merry X'mas (still xmas) and Happy New Year !! Have a great year ahead !! Wow, I didn't you have updated, I have just read it. You know slayerfanfic shd have this email notification thingin for stories being updated anyhow on to the review..Whew, Connor didn't die, so his death has been fake by those special government agencies/ops/experiment (whatever you call those) and he's been contained by them. okay..hmmp..this is bad!! I mean why is Connor always being capture *sign* and good b'cos at least he gets some special interesting training hee ;p and now finally he has escape from another capture again, yeah!! Poor Angel, he must have really think that his son is really dead. And thanks to Riley Finn tip, maybe Angel won't blame on Buffy anymore..so thanks for updated chapter !! =D

I am so glad you updated. I was wondering what really happened to connor. It was so sad that Angel blamed Buffy, but it was her fault. Great story, update again soon.

I like it, Conner's back, Conner's back. Part of some form of Military training thing, Cool. I like that, Cool. I can't wait for the next story, Conner's back. I thought it was fun to know that he was just planning all this from the beginning, trick them. Boo Yeah! :-) :-P

No I'm not gonna let them catch me, no. Not gonna let them catch the Midnight Rider. (sorry, I just felt like that song should have played at the end of this) Great chapter. And hopfuly He'll get were he needs to go. But when The Goverment's involved, it never works that way. Keep it up.
