Love the title, which I assume is a pun on “Hitchhiker’s Guide . . .” At over 8,000 words, this was a long chapter, but it got a lot of information across and flowed very smoothly. Still, you may want to split it into two chapters. (I find this helps me increase readership when I do it). I loved the mystery surrounding Quinn Farrell and how Xander solved it. Great story. I love a good mystery.
Author's Response: Yeah it was a pun on hitchhikers guide. thanks for the tip on the chapter length. what i might do is if it goes over 5,000 words I'll split them up into acts. the mystery element was fun to work out. the way i do it is to work out what the Turidul needs and work out how it would effect people. it's almost as much fun as making up all the short and mythical land jokes : ). thanks for reviewing |

I love Xander, so it's great to see a story about him. I also love the ending, which was kind of a cliffhanger.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I always thought it would be interesting to see how Xander would handle his own calling. As for the cliffhanger you find out more about who the mysterious woman is and what Lukus is planing for Xander later on in the series |
