Willow was kinda scary with the Angel thing. Hmmm, foreshadowing? Anyway, very good chapter. The beginning was actually my favorite part, the casual way they all interact. Very well done. But I gotta say, I'm not totally convinced it's Cordy. Jealous, she may be, but powerful enough to do all this? I dunno. Anyway, I'm wondering what would happen if Buffy turned out to be wrong...but whatever.
Author's Response: I have given a LOT of thought to the Cordy issue and i think i've come up with an acceptable way for the story to go... Well, i like it anyway. |

| but she bobbed into view once more. ‘Umm, I’d appreciate it if you never told Giles about this. Technically, I’m not supposed to be this powerful yet. I don’t want to get into trouble.’
haha you wrote willow down to the pin. That was great! |

| I think this was a great chapter. I think we need to know the significance of the necklace and how Buffy knew who sent Cassie. Update soon please. |

I thought the chapter was pretty good. I did wonder about a few things - the seemingly random selection of the name Cassie (and then the C necklace?), the huge fire that somehow went unnoticed (when Buffy said a truck was coming, I thought it must be a fire truck at first), and Willow being instantly powerful. It does make sense that Willow-at-19 (she's 19, right?) would be more powerful than Willow-at-17, but it's still a bit odd that she's able to hold her own against a whatever-Cassie-is.
Author's Response: Hey, i don't think i've heard from you in a while... If i have, disregard that, but HI! anyway. In answer to your questions, (or comments) Cassie, just 'cause i could. The bad guy should always be named. Less fear that way. Buffy named hers. As for the fire; It's Sunnnydale, land of denial. Buffy did mention the authorities but she knew they wouldn't come. And Willow? that will be explained. She has a secret. Tsk, tsk, tsk... |

I myself couldn't find anything wrong with this chapter, I hope Buffy finds Angel soon, that was so cool having oz come to the rescue. Such a change. Nice to see Giles didn't get knocked unconsious and willow hholding her own. want more need more. I can't believe you said it's almost finished.
Author's Response: Almost, not yet. Miles to go before we sleep.... |

I thought it was a great chapter, pretty well-written. Though the whole huge fire out in the front lawn thing seems a bit crazy...I'm wondering if the neighbors'll notice. Interesting how Willow's already so powerful...it was kinda sudden. Loved Oz's entrance. Nicely done anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Hi! The fire thing will be ignored because it's Sunnydale. No one notices anything... and Willow will be explained. I thought Oz would be the right person to save their collective butts.. |

Despite what you said at the end, I thought it was a pretty good chapter. The action was fast-paced and quick-changing, which are necessary in a good fight scene. I liked how things unraveled to reach that end point, too. You're good at keeping the main idea in mind as you write. I guess if I had to agree with you on anything, I'd be the lack of dialogue. It's not a huge factor, but it's enough to make the story seem less involved (especially Cassie, i think i good villian always needs to talk). But that's just a minor issue in an otherwise great chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks for your reviews, it's great that you like it. I agree about the dialogue and although Buffy is good at punning while she fights, this fight was intense and Buffy needed concentration. I couldn't write any dialogue that worked, so i didn't write any. |

| How much do I love you for updating so marvelously? Very much. And I'll love you even more if you do it again. Please? Oh, but I was kinda confused about the wording of one thing. Buffy was saying everything in her wanted blah, and everything that wasn't in her wanted blah. What isn't in her? I mean, I get what you're trying to say, but it just seemed like a strange way to say it. |

| Cool first chapter. I like how you worked out the alternate backstory similar to Angel, but sans Buffy. I liked the show "Angel" better than "Buffy" anyway, so this story seems natural to me. You also really have the characters pegged well. |

I love this story! I really like how buffy is just like well... buffy in the show! But i do have something to kinda add... Your Wesley dialogue is sort of like very very British, i'm from England (i still live their) and i dont really talk like that, yes we do talk funny compared to americans but we arent really that posh. Sorry to have to say that but it bugs me when english are stereotyped into posh people who wear tweed! i dont own any tweed, well.. i think anyway...
Author's Response: Hi, thanks for reviewing. It's really great to hear from you. I wanna say i'm really sorry if it seems as thought i was stereotyping English people because it really wasn't my intention. I was just writing Wesley as he first appeared in BtVS and that was all. My reasoning to write him like that was because in this story, he went straight to work for Angel and never went to Sunnydale. Because of this, i believe he never had the experiences that caused him to mellow out so was still uptight and British, as he was in the show. I'm sorry for any offence cause but it really wasn't my intention. |

| OKay, os I'm just dying to hear the rest of Buffy's history. Great job with this chapter, I loved the ending. And I love how you're making Buffy just a little more brash than usual in these last few chapters. Anyway, great job, again, and update soon. PLease? Pretty please witha cherry on top? |
