Wow. you have a rare gift. with a lot of fan fics i've read they mainly concentrate on getting the characters right but with you you also set a mood that is both gripping and powerful from start to end. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Author's Response: Thank you for reading, and thank you for the kind words! I don't really think I have a gift for this kind of writing, but I do believe I have a good grasp on how Xander might have felt if he'd actually heard this news. It's my view that their relationship, as short and tempestous as it was, was deeper than the show's writers gave it credit for, that they would NOT have forgetten about each other. Having a song as beautiful as 'Unforgettable' to guide the story made it almost easy to express those emotions. (Other stuff I've written--not posted yet--isn't nearly so angsty)
