I really loved this chapter. I think Spike is very hard to write but you did a great job. I hope he does tell her the whole story about fighting to get his soul. Its a great fic, keep up the good work.

Very well wriiten. It got me thinking a bit of faith, as she was interested in a kind of self-mutialtion. This character seems very interesting, and made me wonder what you plan to do with her.
Author's Response: I hope she didn't seem too much like Faith. I wnat to develop my own slayer and not have her seem anything like Buffy or Faith. Thanks for the review. |

Spike's dream was so sad...reminded me of buffy's dream in Surprise too, which I thought was a nice touch. When he was staked by Dru... Lots of possibilities for analysis there... I also liked the way Spike felt something for Angel, as if they had finally reached a silent respect for one another at the latest possible moment.

Wow . . . cutting (something I explored in my own stroy) is such an odd phenomenon. I have very limited experience in this area and have never really understood people who ENJOY it. (I've known people who did it b/c they were with other ppl who did and didn't like it, just kind of went along). Anyway, the people I know who cut that actually enjoy it are very complex people. I'm sure this character will prove to be the same.
Author's Response: I really don't know that much about cutting either. One of my good friends in high school did it and when writing this story I thought it would be interesting to have a Slayer that did it. Thanks for the review. |

I thing you're doing a great job with Spike's character so far. Even though it was short, I enjoyed the chapter - interested to see if Lena learns the real reason why Spike went to Africa to have his soul returned. As always, fantastic update and I can't wait to read more. Should be good to see how these two interact with one another :)

Damn- spike is better to angel after the big guy's dead than he ever was in life. It's sweet and very Spike. Very cool.

I like how Lena could tell Spike wasn't evil by the glimmer in his eyes. Slayers should have a sixth sense about that sort of thing.
Author's Response: Yea they should. I never really understood why Buffy didn't. Well, she knew when Angel got his soul back in season 2 but she couldn't tell when Spike got is? I just didn't get that. |

Yikes! At first when she protested Spike saving her, I thought Lena might have graduated to being a fang junkie. Now I’m worried about . . . well, the ending. You know what happened. Great story. Post again soon so I can know what happens! I’m freaking out here!!!
