See, I would say stupid Jonathan, for succumbing to Vampire Willow's charms. But I'm gonna say stupid Angel instead, for leaving Jonathan by himself with Vampire Willow. Yeesh. Anyways, this was a good chapter, of course, and I'm verily looking forward to an update soon. :)
Author's Response: I think they're all underestimating her. Yup, she's a vampire. Yup, she's a bit crazy. But she's still just as intelligent as her human self. This is gonna be fun, I think. |

:o The reappearance of Vampire Willow... gotta say, didn't see that coming. And I thought Angel might have suggested busting Faith out of jail, not bringing back Buffy. But like MissEdith said, it's understandable. All in alls, can't wait for Chapter 11. :)
Author's Response: In my opinion, you can NEVER have too much Willow. So bringing her evil vampire self in was a given. I'm just glad it came out as surprising as I wanted! |

omg! Awesome Chapter!!!! I love how they weren't sure if they wanted to bring her back and then all agreed and I loved Angel! More of that please..the angst is awesome...i can't help it!

omg...I was sitting there trying to remember who Eyrishon was, and then I read the last bit and wow. Was not expecting that. Also wasn't expecting Angel to suggest bringing Buffy back, or Giles not stopping them. I think they both know it's wrong, but they miss her so badly so it's understandable.
Author's Response: Yeah, it's a tricky thing to pull off... hence the Darla/Buffy thing in Angel's dream to remind him that it's possible. And in the series, of course, Giles had the luxury of never having to decide himself... if he had, I'm not so sure he would have been against it. |

The dreamy-type sequences were very well-done. Angel's was incredibly creepy, Willow's was freaky, Giles' felt so eerily real. And I loved that ending. "This is where I come back." Only Willow's not here to do the resurrection spell, hmmm.

This is a good fic, just the right side of angsty to make it compelling. Well done for dusting Spike - offing a major character is always a bold decision and you made it work. Looking forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Thanks! I really hated killing Spike, but I wanted to bring Angel into it and getting those two working together would take way too much away from the rest of the story... |

I love what you've done with Dawn. They all dance around the fact that when you get right down to it Buffy committed suicide, and Dawn being who she is, would be angry. And I do love Jonathon. The badgers were a very nice touch.
Author's Response: Exactly, I always thought that was a bit too understated on the show. (If nothing else, it would explain why the others think she's in hell... suicide being a sin and all...) |

Great Chapter... YAY Jonathan... His is so funny... And i love the part where Warren was killed and Partially eaten by a badger... Update soon
Author's Response: Thanks! Part of my mission statement for anything I write is "Kill Warren". I'm thinking of doing a whole series which just consists of Warren being resurrected and killed over and over again. I would never get tired of that. |

This is a strong story. I love Giles' form of grief; Tara seems too outspoken and Spike doesn't seem nearly torn up enough. Angel is well griefstricken. I like it; the transitions between chapters are a little awkward but, hell, I don't think they should be changed. It's good. That's all.
Author's Response: Thanks! I see what you're saying about Spike... I'd written so many teary scenes already I just figured he's had a week to move on from the most acute grief to... well, violence. But hey, he's dead now anyway. |

Just wanna say... I hate Spike with a passion... And this chapter made me love him... It's nice to get inside Spike's head... His anger is justified and it's written great...
Give or take a few decimals... that's a great line.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! That's the best praise I could have gotten, I think. Spike is tricky; he's a soulless killer, but at the same time a hopeless romantic... balancing those two isn't easy. |

I don't want Tara to die (I love Tara!) but there has to be another way! A better way! They can't just leave! Although that was a beautiful scene. And Buffy's message was so haunting. And I loved when Willow told Angel that Buffy would want to be alone with him. Oh, and one thing: why did Spike keep saying "fucken" instead of "fucking"? Or was that supposed to show his accent?
Author's Response: They leave Sunnydale, but I have a second unit shooting on location. We'll see them again.
Spike is a British punk, and also slightly drunk and reeling from bloodloss. He doesn't care about speling. :-) |
