No WAY!
Okay, I've spent the better part of the day reading the rest of this absolutely fantastic story, but this chapter in particular is above par. I'm really, really enjoying this; I was wondering when Xander and Oz were going to come into it. This is amazing. Absolutely.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review and your too, too kind words. I’m glad you liked this chapter. I really enjoyed writing it. (Although, I think the dream sequence chapters were my favorites). I know I kind of popped Oz in there out of the blue. Did you happen to pick up on Xander being in the story before he actually showed up? Thanks again! |

Oh my god...everything's AWFUL. Xander's condoning torture. Oz is looking pretty suspicious here. Connor's gonna be seriously messed up, Willow's MIA. Where's Buffy in all this? My one complaint about this fic is the lack of Buffy. It's okay for her to be running off to Rome all the time, but I feel like maybe we could get a sentence or two saying where she is or what she's doing? Although what I really want is for Buffy and Angel to have a long talk...but hey, maybe they will in the chapters I haven't read yet.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I understand what you're saying about Buffy, but the story is centered around Connor, Dawn, Willow, and Kennedy. Yes, I've gone and made a story featuring three of the most disliked characters in the history of the shows. I suppose I'm a masochist. The story doesn't cover where Buffy is for the same reason the shows never spent a lot of time explaining the whereabouts of Willow's mom or Principal Snyder when they weren't in an episode. In this story, Buffy and Angel are basically recurring characters. They're not the focus of the story. I really, really hope that doesn't ruin it for you.
Of course things are in bad shape. The only way to keep people reading is to keep throwing those cliffhangers out there and hoping it makes you want to find out what happens next. And yes, Connor is going to be very messed up. On a positive note, Buffy will be returning before too, too long. Thanks again for reading and for the review. I really appreciate the time you've taken to share your thoughts with me. |

Ooh. Does the leader know what he's making these kids do? Has he really turned that..... Evil, for lack of a better word? Is Connor going to stay relatively sane? Are we going to see anymore backlash from the Connor/Dawn/Emily triangle, or the Connor/Emily/anybody triangles? And what's going to happen when the pack leader is confronted with the consequences?..... Oooh...... Update again soon, please.
Author's Response: Oh, you KNOW I can’t answer those questions here. Well, except one. I can’t say that Connor will stay relatively sane. Just as Angel always struggled with Angelus, both in terms of his past and the demon within, Connor 2.1 will struggle with both the ghosts of Connor 1.0 and the inner anger. Also, yes. Backlash galore from the Connor/Dawn/Emily triangle. I will work on updating again, but I’m knocking out the next chapter of RoF at the moment. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. |

The werewolf leader is (well, I can't say who he is, or ruin the suprize). Was he behind what happened to Willow to, I wonder, who'd have thought. You are the best writer on this site, and we all know it. by the way, remind me not to piss Connor off.
Author's Response: LMFAO- Thanks. And thanks. And sure, I'll remind you not to piss off Connor. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that the werewolf leader isn't behind what happened to Willow. However, by the end of the season, I hope to have many things connected. |

Okay... The first line about Harris calling, that was enough to make me go "COOL!" but the ending? With the interrogation? With Terry's Answer?!!
