It has been way too long since I got to read a new chapter! I went back and read the whole thing over again waiting for an update! When I read this little shivers of happiness shot down my spine. This was a very sexy and sweet chapter. It was so sweet when Buffy asked Spike to spend the night with her. And the dialouge between the two is touching and seductive. I loved this chapter as much as the others, and refuse to move from my computer chair until you update! (so update soon please?!) Good job! (as always) -Marissa

Well...leave it up to Giles to clear things up! I like how you have written Giles' character, it's very true to the show. I also like the argumentative feelings between Spike and Giles, it is obvious that the two men who mean the most to her, and who she means the most to, would fight over her. I feel so sorry for Buffy and Spike having to be seperated throughout most of this chapter! I love scenes with them together, you make them come alive. Another very well written chapter, you explained a lot of your story in this chapter, and I thought it was absolutly believable that each Slayer would have a vampire mate. I have double emotions about this chapter. On the one hand, I love to see that you have updated, and on the other hand, I hate to finish the chapters! I know when I finish that I'll have to wait at least another day for the next installment, and it's very hard to do! I thought this chapter was beautiful from beginning to end. I'm glad they got to be together in the night, before the light of day came and brought Buffy again to realization. I hope that in the next chapter their relationship continues to grow, and that Buffy can fully accept her situation with Spike. Thank you for delivering a beautiful story! I would first like to say that your portrayl of Angelus, Darla, and Drusilla was absolutly perfect! I know how hard it is to write for Drusilla, and you did it perfectly. Darla is also hard to write for, because she has her own language and speech. So, thank you for that perfect portrayl! Next, I was very happy to have a scene between Buffy and Spike that was so sweet and beautiful. It was simple in nature, just holding each other, but it was perfect and fit perfectly with the story thus far. I am excited to see the continuation of their time together, and what the Order has in store for Spike and Buffy now that they have confirmed their suspicions of Spike and his mate. Thank you for a wonderful chapter, and I am very much so looking forward to reading the next one. *soon right?* -Marissa

I checked this at school today! Thankfully I had a free period, and I got on. I was so glad to see you had updated! I haven't been able to get on the computer in the last two days or so, because I've been very busy with school work. It brightened an other wise dull school day! I love that this was a Buffy-centric chapter, in that we get to see EXACTLY what Buffy is thinking in relation to Spike, instead of vice versa. It was interesting to see her internal reactions to him, as well as her external actions. I hope Giles explains things to her, and I hope she talks to Spike soon. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, which (by the title) I hope means she and Spike are going to talk. I hope she forgives him for killing two past slayers, and believes in him enough to know he wouldn't kill her, that it was just cruel fate that threw the Slayer and a vampire together! Awwwwwwwww....is all I have to say! Well actually, you know I always write you short stories for reviews, so that isn't all I have to say! I love Buffy and Spike in this chapter. They are so cute, and I was hoping the whole time I was reading that Buffy would invite Spike in. That was so sweet! I find myself smiling a lot while I'm reading this story, mostly because of the obvious love that Spike has for Buffy, and the love I think Buffy is starting to show for him. I have one question. Are you going to elaborate on any feelings Buffy may have felt for the years after Spike's departure. The years before she talked herself into thinking he hadn't really exsisted? I think that would be interesting to read. I hope you update soon, because I want to see what is going to happen next in their relationship. I hope they grow close enough that Spike decides he could and should turn her. It would be neat if they lived together forever. They obviously have the love for it. I'm still wondering about the Order, and how they are going to play into things...should make for an interesting read. (as always!) Please update as soon as you can, I'm an addict, and I need my fix! -Marissa

I think you did an excellent job with this chapter--your potrayal of the internal conflict (in both of them) was well done. And I wouldn't exactly call it rape...Depends on your definition of sex, I suppose. A violation, for sure. But not an irredeemable one in my opinion. And I found it to be appropriate considering the circumstances and totally in character for souless Spike. I haven't read the next chapter yet, but look forward to it.... [BTW, my baby woke up early from his nap JUST as I was in the "heat" of the chapter (ahem) and I practically screamed in frustration...i.e., you hooked me in good!]

Wow. First off, 've liked the whole thing--and I'm curious exactly how much of the Order of Aurelius is in Sunnydale. For instance, are we going to see Angelus pitted against the Slayer? And how're Spike and Buffy going to get over this extremely important hurdle? How insane is Buffy feeling right now? Most importantly, update soon, please!

I'm starting to run out of descriptive words! I've used "awe" "wow" and many others in my last 6 reviews, and now I would like to use them all for this chapter! I thought it was very well written, and beautiful. Spike finally being reunited with his mate, only to force himself to let her go again. I have checked this website everyday since your last chapter! And the day you update, is the day I can't get on my computer ALL DAY! I had to try to sleep last night and then get on here as soon as possible and check. When I saw you updated, it was like a little slice of heaven on my computer screen! I am really interested to see what is going to happen with the Order. I recently brought the Order into one of my fan fics, and so far nothing good has come of it! I also want to see how Spike is going to A: React to the Order and B: Protect and eventually claim Buffy. She is the Slayer now and all, with those kick butt Slayer powers.
