That was a beautiful vignette. Your mixture of original thoughts/words with dialog from the show are seemless. You truly captured Wesley in all his incarnations, illustrating his transformation with just the right selection of scenes. I liked the symmetry of the first scene with him looking up at the sky and the last scene, with him looking up at Fred, his love. Sniff. I miss Wesley! Thanks.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review! I am very glad you enjoyed 'Motion'. I adore Weslesy and I don't think there was any character on either of the shows who went through quite so much of a change over the course of the show. We watched Wesley grow -up... and I wanted to try to express his journey... from the boy I felt he would have been before his father beat it out of him... to the man he became. And what a huge impact small, simple events (as well as the BIG ones) in ones life can have. I am so very glad that it worked for you! Thank you once again for your review! |
