Finally got to read some more, and I'm so happy I did. You write for Gunn extremely well. The banter between him and Wes is perfect. I think you have a pure talent for dialogue. You can just hear the characters in your head. Very much enjoying this story & will read more soon.

I never thought about something between Eve and Conner, Conner's still got that older woman thing going on for him. Another Good story.
Author's Response: As Skip said, "magic can't change the heart of a champion." And Connor's heart (as well as other parts of his anatomy) likes older women. Personally, I think Connor and Eve are the perfect match. Two very skinny and girly looking people. Just kidding. thanks for the review. |

It just gets better. I like the tension between Wes and Gunn, though I don't really understand why they'd be pissed at each other if their memories have been wiped of all Conor related info (of course, I deal with this mystery in my own stories). I especially liked the exchange about daylight. I'm totally hooked on the Connor / Eve storyline. Totally different from anything I've read before. And, I know he wasn't in this chapter much, I hate Connor's "dad"--he seems really ridiculous to me, like he's jealous of his son or something. Oh yeah, the description of the boy (in the white room) was great!
Author's Response: Thanks for yet another review. I really appreciate you putting this kind of time and thought into discussing my story. I always considered the Wes/Gunn tension to be over Fred, which should still be an issue. I don’t remember Wes or Gunn ever having any friction over Connor. Also glad that you’re hooked on the Connor/Eve storyline. There are a lot of directions I want to go with it, so it’s taking up more of the story than I’d planned. Therefore, if everyone hated them, everyone would probably hate my story as well. As for Laurence, I may have overshot things. He’s definitely overprotective and a bit too intrusive, but I’m definitely not going for jealous. I’ll have to look over his material and edit it if he’s coming off as too jealous. But annoying, overbearing, and ridiculous, yeah. That would work. (He’s heavily based on my own father. In fact, you might want to replace “heavily” with “entirely”). I’m also so, so glad you liked the boy in the white room. He’ll have a bigger role as things progress. |

wow, i love your idea of ANGEL season5 your version a while ago i started a buffy the vampire slayer season 8 and 9 but i deleted them as i figured no-one was reading it! You have to PLEASE let cordy wake up and stay longger than 1 episode i hated wb for killing off cordy i loved her. please make her come back! keep writing and i'll keep reading!

Glad to see justine back, if only for awile, every story needs a crazy chic. and, loren may be Evil, (Never liked him anyway) Charles maybe, or maybe Angel's the trader (OK, I don't believe that any more than you) Please keep going so we can find out.
Author's Response: Thanks- I missed Justine, too. I would have liked to have kept her around longer for a lot of reasons. But I wanted to keep the story moving and suspense building. This is in great part a nystery, so I love that you're interested in knowing who's doing what. |
