Wow!!! this is the first fic i have read by you and i gotta say its strangely beautiful in a way that Buffy's death seem to unite the Scoobies and Angel's gang more closer together, just like family. This was a very beautiful fic but it was kinda unusually to think all the vampires were howling at something they hated so much...the Slayer except for maybe Angel and Spike, Kudos. This fic was beautiful in a sad and somewhat comforting way.

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you found it so moving. You'll note that some of the vampires *weren't* very happy about being forced to mourn Buffy - see Darla's reaction - but the point was that Angel's pain is so terrible that it echoes through his psychic connection to the vamps he's sired, and on down through the bloodline. As for the Scoobies and Angel Investigations...sometimes the lot of them need to be shown what they really need when "what they should do" makes them forget.

this was really good. the writing amazed me and somehow in the strange way of howling, it touched me. that sounded weird, but it was sad. but very very good. good work. ~angelzbabygrl

Author's Response: Thank you. The sad was already there in the situation, but the weird was something I added on purpose. I like reminding everyone that Angel isn't human...but even vampires fall in love and grieve. I'm glad it worked.
