I really liked this chapter--loved the conversation w/ Angel and Connor and how Angel just keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper. Great stuff!

Aww! Poor Connor, his entire world is crumbling around him.
So Eve's still working with the evil ppl, huh? And Connor knows. This is gonna end up bad...
I always liked Cordy a bit more b4 she became Mrs High and Mighty. I'm a bit confused as to what's going on with Gwen for some reason...
I noticed how Angel didn't tell Connor the entire truth - more lies that'll come back and eventually bite him in the ass. I think it would work better if Connor were to find out the entire truth by himself.
Overall, I liked this chapter - and I only found one (what I think is a) typo: "For their soles." souls.

Author's Response: Yep, poor Connor is getting put through the ringer again. Of course the relationship between Connor and Eve is going to end up badly. How else could it end?! Gwen is a working girl who’s working for a living. That’s pretty much all that’s up with her. As for Angel’s lies, they’re *definitely* going to come back and chomp him on the butt. Poor Connor. It's just going to get worse. And it looks like Gunn's evil. to bad, I always liked him. And why is he only Black member of Angel bad, in this. What's up with that? (I'm kidding) Anyway good chapter.
Author's Response: Poor everyone! But yes, it will be getting worse for Connor. I always liked Gunn, too. But when they took him to the white room at the end of season 4, I couldn’t help thinking, “wouldn’t it be so awesome if W&H controlled Gunn next year?” If you’re fearing a poor representation of Africa Americans in my story, I’ll try to bring back Jasmine and Mr. Trick as good guys. Or maybe not. |

I am lovin, lovin, lovin this story! Great songs: Dead Man's Party - perfect, and Mandy. This is great, Kevin. My favorite chapter so far.

Finally got to read some more, and I'm so happy I did. You write for Gunn extremely well. The banter between him and Wes is perfect. I think you have a pure talent for dialogue. You can just hear the characters in your head. Very much enjoying this story & will read more soon.

that was honestly one of my favorite chapters! i love how Angel and Connor were talking and I can't wait for the turnout of the memory spell, weather they preform it or not! great chapter!

And here I was cheering on Wes and Cordy & co to get rid of the memory spell as fast as possible, and then you just had to write the ending scene, did you?! : )
Loving the Connor and Eve relationship, wondering what will happen after the memory spell breaks, if it breaks that is!!
One thing I do know for sure is that I don´t wanna meet the boy in the white room ever!!!! Looking forward to find out what will happen next!!

I'm really liking this story. It flows just an episode of Angel, with the same wit, humor and character interaction that makes the story so readable. I laughed out loud several times, but especially at Gunn's description of hockey!
I'll keep reading, for certan.

I'm trying to have a lot of mini-arcs as well as an overall arc for the season. The characters were my favorites, so I'm happy their interactions are believeable and true to form. Thaks again. |

When you said she was raped, in school, it sounded like she was mortal. On the show, she was created.
Author's Response: Ahhh . . . by mortal I thought you meant that she was not currently "immortal". There's nothing to say that, in this story, Eve hasn't entered a Mayor Wilkins-like bargain for immortality. Then again, maybe she hasn't. |

I really loved the Connor and Fred part but I can understand her not wanting to be with Connor after getting her memory back, akward. But I have a hard time liking Eve. I see how she turned to the evil side but her motives still stink. Poor Cordy, hope she kicks them all in the ass. Love where you are going with this. Great update.
Author's Response: Thakns for the review. Cordy is still the moral compass of the group, so she's got a lot of work to do at the moment. I'm trying to make Eve a little more sympathetic, but still evil. I want people to think "thisis why she's evil, and that's sad, but she's still evil." SO, basically, I'm glad you're having a hard time liking her. That's what I want. I want you to want to like Eve, but have a hard time doing it. Thanks again for reviewing. |
