I like Buffy and Spike talking during the after glow. 21 and 17 . . .hmmm . . . it's a substantial difference, but not a dirty old man kind f difference. I imagine the main conflict will come from Buffy being middle class and having college and a career in her future and Spike being a 21 year old delivery boy. I can definitely see this story developing into a kind of class-struggle type story. Or not. I'll have to read on and see.

Author's Response: Nope you're not the only one. I got the idea from one of the Buffy books, The Last Slayer, a few years ago and just kind of liked the idea. Not everyone likes that though, so I guess that's why it's not done often.

Finally we get to the main event. This was another really sexy and romantic chapter. I never liked Spuffy on the show that much, but that's the great thing about alt universe- you can take away all the unpleasant bits (Spike being evil and soulless) and just make it all good.

I love the back story and how you’re working everyone in. It’s awesome. William’ S relationship with his dad and Etahn’s reaction to Spuffy were great. I’m really interested in who on earth could be this rude museum man Joyce is talking about-LOL. It’d be neat to see some Joyce Giles action. And of course, we get a make out session coming up. Which you better write!
One nit-picky thing: if Ethan is Spike’s father’s first cousin, then he’s not a second cousin, he’s a first cousin, once removed. Then again, that’s all very confusing, so Ethan might not know that.
