Hi there. I was recently in the mood for some good C+D fanfics, and I happened
to come across yours. Let me tell you, by the end of the story I was speechless.
I mean you must've studied the characters for a good while to come up with
dialogue like that. I respect you for it. Now my question is, are you going to
be writing a sequal to this? Or, is this ending the type of ending that leaves
the reader to make his/her own conclusion? If you do decide to continue, which I
pray you do, what can I expect?
Author's Response: The reason I wanted to post this one is my answer to the question of a sequel...and I really do think it is going to happen, but not until at least September. I also think I will go in the direction, as suggested by another reviewer, of the angst of one of them trying to move on and the myriad of dramas that would result from it....so a sequel...already in the works in my head. |

This was a great story. I read it in two nights. It's so steeped in human emotion and explores so many facets of the different characters. I loved the cat and mouse game you played with Connor's identity early on. As for the ending, I love it just the wya it is. I'd read a sequel if you wrote it, but I love bittersweet endings. If you did a sequel, I'd almost want it to be a heart-wrenching drama about either Dawn or Connor reacting to the other trying to move on and see other people, rather than an actino packed assault on Wolfram & Hart that finishes with a happy ending. But of course, whether there's a sequel and what it will be is up to you.
Author's Response: And "a heart wrenching drama about either Dawn or Connor reacting to the other trying to move on" is what you shall get, all you had to do is ask. I love the idea, and am working on it for a sequel that I plan on starting in September. Thank you so much for your review, and the idea for a way I feel would move the story forward, without sacrificing the angst that always happens when they get together. We say we want it, but when it happens, we get bored! What is wrong with us? :) |

| Is this over? There should be a sequel or something. I mean, leaving it as a repeat of Buffy and Angel is just too easy and a bit boring. It took me a long time but I finally read this...

Im so glad that you got your ending out! It was a long time coming, but soooo worth it. You know how I love your style and ideas, and this story didn't disappoint. Sorry it took so long for me to review. Ive been out of the loop lately, and I hadn't checked this site in months, until today that is. But Im very glad I did! Man, this story was cool. I hope you do another, but if not, this one stands on its own as a great story. It developed from something so typical into a story so far from where it began. I just love that. Plus, everything makes sense that it would happen like it did.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I felt I may have lost some early readers who were turned off by the strict romance feel of the story, thus missing the more the ending held. I'm glad I didn't lose you. I am also glad you see it as a stand alone worthy story. I too feel that it can be left just as it is. But for all those out there freaking that I just said that, it doesn't rule out a sequel. Thank you for reading and reviewing it really means a lot to me. |

Wow- what a great ending! It was sad, but not completely. there were a lot of nice moments between Angel and Connor as well as Buffy and Dawn. It definitely left me feeling like the story wasn't over (hint hint). Even if it is, I still feel like Dawn and Connor had a wonderful love and still have people who care about them in their lives. Great story! Great ending!

=O im really a buffy and angel person but i think this is a great story! i esspecially loved it when buffy fell on top of angel...so cute together! lol well nice job! Keep up da good work!

This was a perfect ending for the story. A lot of people are saying it’s a sad ending, but I think it’s more bittersweet. Yes, our lovers are split up for the time being, but both Angel and Buffy plan on trying to find a solution. Plus, maybe Angel wins the big battle with Wolfram & Hart. Okay, I’m stretching. As for a sequel, I think it would be extremely welcome. However, you have to write what feels natural and all that crap. I think it would be a great story though. There’s a lot of conflict built in. Angel and Buffy have big responsibilities, yet they’re trying to find a way to get Dawn and Connor together. Maybe one of the two of them meets someone else and has this weird relationship. Like “I’m with you until I can get back together with the one I really love.” One thing I know for sure is that this story was awesome! It was completely enthralling from start to finish. Part of me is very sad it’s over.
Author's Response: Here you are, already setting up storyline for the sequel!! You never disappoint. I am glad you felt it was bittersweet, as that is how I felt when I wrote it. The entire story was meant to shadow the relationship between Buffy and Angel, so to me, there could be no other ending than this one. Thank you so much for your tireless energy and exceptionally thought out reviews. This story expanded and became what it did, directly due to you. You forced me look outside the box of the traditional romance to form a story with more depth and I am forever thankful to you for this. |

i am very impressed with this story. i am sorry i haven't reviewed sooner. i am trying to read 12 stories at once. please don not be discouraged by a lack of reviews. this story deserves a sequel. there are way too many unresoled issues to just leave us hanging.
