Oh God, this was officially the best fanfic I've ever read. All the references to the original show, the original characters cropping up, the new characters and just everything was so amazing. I can't believe I waited this long to read it. But the good thing about that is now I can start in on Season Two without a wait. :) You are officially one of the greatest writers on SFA, and there are no words that can describe just how great this story was. This is so on my Favourites. :)

I have feeling mippyness may be an entirely made up word that me and friends use. It sort of means angst and sadness, whereby you want to Mary Sue yourself into the situation and save the day/become the love interest. Anywhoozles..Have finished the series. It feels a little redundant saying it's great, because I think I've said that muchly...Oh, what the hell: you, my dear, are fantastic. Pongo is inspired - so surreal, and yet he works. Your dialogue is funny: genuinely smart, quippy, and witty. I can't count the number of times I laughed out loud. I wasn't so keen on mercenary!Buffy, but I can't criticise your portrayal of her as it's canon - it was the direction Joss was taking her, and S7 Buffy bugged me too. It also have Liv this wonderful opportunity to come into her own. I love how she's growing, and how her friends are growing and interacting, too. I have a genuine affection for all of them. Even Lucy, who I was expecting not to like so much - yay for giving her bags of personality and not simply making her "love interest". Maya and Jordy are as cute as hell. You actually bother to research, too -all those languages. The time and affection you clearly have for your work really shows: a "show" can only obtain that special kind of charm that way.
I'm rambling. In sum: hurrah for you!
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks for the great review and reading everything! Hopefully you'll like Season 2 just as much... but if it takes you away from Serendipity, I'll gladly wait until your write a dozen more chapters or so before you start reading the next season.
Glad you liked my OC's as well as Lucy. With the exception of Drusilla she's surprisingly hard to write for. As for "General Buffy", yeah I wrote her that way specifically so Liv would get in her face and take her down a few notches. It's my own devious plan to return her to the Buffy we all know and love.
