Coolness! Knights and a lead on Loki's soul! Of course with the nonlinear approach you are taking with the story, your next segment will probably have Logan lecturing a young "Ripper" on the dangers of demon summoning and I'll have to grumble. Don't make me grumble!
Author's Response: lol, I'll try to keep the grumbling to a minimum, but nonlinear is my theme here! Don't ruin my theme! Linear is so boring sometimes, especially when dealing with ancient past, recent past, present, possible futures, actual futures, initiated alternate universes.. more which I won't divulge, all skipping along merrily through history at once. Don't snub nonlinearization and I won't make you grumble. |

There's something about Glory splitting a demon's head... especially THAT demon's head... that just seems.... special.
Good segments. Character's spot on. Give me more. Now.
Author's Response: Every head splitting should have a special place in our hearts. Sorry about the 'I write - you read' time gap, ten at night is the only chance I get. |

So no matter what happens, Buffy had to die on May 23rd? Hmmm.... I never realized that the Powers-That-Be were actually television network executives.
Great as usual! Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Didn't you know? The Powers That Be own Fox. May 23rd is just NOT Buffy's day. |

Paradox be damned... YEAH BABY!
Looking forward to Loki's version of "damage control".
Author's Response: I'm looking forward to writing it. Imaine the worst possible screwed-up universe you could create with a time machine, then imagine that machine the hands of a psychopath. Guarantee: All the messed up continuity / AU problems in Walking in Fear will be explained. But you'll have to be patient: Time travel only comes to those who wait. |

Sure.... Make me go to the babelfish translator. Of course... Should've know what it meant. Very cool scene with Glory and Haargan making his last stand.
Author's Response: Didn't want to make it TOO easy for you. And naturally, babelfish is a boy's best friend. |

“Aw, you just need a little magical tune-up, don’t you, little guy?” LOL. For some reason I'm picturing Linus from the Charlie Brown Christmas Special wrapping his blanket around that puny little tree.
Really enjoying how Loki is fitting into the series and can't wait for more. So more please. Now.
Author's Response: Linus! Hahahaha! I never thought of that, but it's perfect! Thanks! |

| I like how you were able to capture Dawn's personality in her "form" even when she hasn't officially become Dawn yet. Loved the whole soul sucking scene too. My only complaint is how long I had to wait for this chapter! : ) More please. |

I love how Logan is so completly original yet so seemlessly intergrated with the Buffy storyline! The Werlech Demon senario is awesome! YOu are very talented at painting a picture!
Author's Response: Thanks! Integration is exactly what I was going for: he's the Big Bad we never got to see (hiding in Tibet all stealthy-like) until he makes his appearence to take care of some business. Glad you like it! |

Man, you are a good writer! You are really good at drawing the reader in. Very descriptive (unlike a lot of writers here)! The plot is good, the charicter usage is excellent, and it's also like a greatest hits of the series! You should be proud of yourself for creating an original charicter and such an intriging piece of work!
Author's Response: Many thanks! I enjoy writing (descriptive style) a great deal and am always glad to get positive reviews! |

Damn it! Quit teasing me! What does the arm have to do with the key? (insert grumbling here)
Just out of curiosity, was chapter nine Logan zoning out in the middle of Haargan's tale? Or were you just taking a break from the history lesson? : )
More please!
Author's Response: Heh, heh, heh. Your grumbling amuses me. But to avoid chasing you off: Think end of S4; big guy, beating the crap out of Buffy... stitched together... Right. Now include skulking monk with extreme stealth in the background, looking for some DNA....
Logan wasn't so much zoning out as I was throwing in bits of things he was able to consider at will. I'm trying to give you bits and pieces of his life, before or as he needs to recall them himself to make sense of what's going on.
Make sense? No? Ex-cellent...
Author's Response: Oh, yes, I almost forgot, bear in mind these are crafty monks, with an as yet undefined ability to skitter around the timeline, assuming it doesn't interfere with their moral code (see Walking In Fear; Loki's explanation of how everyone's memories were altered, which I used at the time as a more plausible explanation than complete fabrication of all of D's effects on the world.)
Author's Response: P.S. I know they were very long responses, my apologies: here's some more of the story. Enjoy! |

Wow. I can see why Logan had a thing for Niki and when nuts after Spike killed her. Just a request? Love to see a "Niki the vampire slayer" series... Plenty of the old crew still alive then... Spike, Dru, Angel/Angelus, Anyanka...
Author's Response: Hm.. we'll see. Don't know if I'd be able to measure up to the competition. Maybe a devoted fic or two, though. Thanks for reviewing! |

I'm a sucker for a good Oz story. Again, very cool how you weave the BTVS story elements into Logan's journey. Little disappointed that we didn't get to see Logan lose his soul and family. Loved how Logan picked up the "Loki" moniker. Keep it up and give me more. Now.
Author's Response: Now works for me! |
