Eliza Dushku Sees God
12/19/2005
Ever wonder what happened to Charlie Brown and Snoopy? Dog Sees God: Confession of a Teenage Blockhead, a new play written by Bert V. Royal and directed by Trip Cullman, the winner of the GLAAD Media Award for Best off-off Broadway production and Excellence Award for Best Overall production at the 2004 Fringe Festival, takes a fresh look at these memorable characters.
This off-Broadway production, currently running, features several of the top young actors in Hollywood including Eliza Dushku (Buffy/Angel, Tru Calling), Ian Somerhalder (LOST) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie) in the title role. Enter Peanuts, 10-years later... The gang has now grown up into hapless teenagers with typical teenage angst; sex, drugs, insecurities and questions on their minds. Dog Sees God is a funny, sad, but touching and often too real story of children evolving into adulthood and offers an introspective look at their journey and beyond.

Quor'toth ~ a Weekend in Hell to Remember
11/9/2005
If there is one thing that is guaranteed to bring rain to a British summer's day, then it's the mention of either the infamous tennis tournament at Wimbledon, the equally as legendary musical festival held at the mudslide known as Glastonbury or the annual Angel Convention run by Starfury and held at London's Heathrow.
Glorious sunshine had cast its dazzling rays across England's green and pleasant land until all of the events detailed above happened to fall on the same weekend (25th-27th June) leading the heavens to open and the rain to fall. Nothing could dampen the spirits of either guest or attendee though as Quor'toth opened its portal.
Not to reveal the entry into a tormented hell dimension, but to allow the Angel faithful to come together and party as only they know how, and party they did! Recap the events and memories with us now in our special Quor'toth event feature!

Live Fast, Die Never... ~ A Review of the Angel Soundtrack
5/16/2005
Angel... tall, dark, handsome, the infamous vampire cursed with a soul. He helps the helpless of Los Angeles, fights against the minions of evil and even plays one mean cello. Ok, maybe not that last bit, but just because Angel doesn't have a lick of musical ability that doesn't mean his series didn't feature some amazing music that not only underscored, but heightened every pivotal and emotional moment created during the show's five spectacular seasons.
Finally, that music gets a chance to shine on its own with the release of the first Angel television series soundtrack, "Angel: Live Fast, Die Never" - Music from the TV Series released by Rounder Records on May 17th, 2005. Its brilliance only heightened by the talents of the composer himself, Robert Kral. To get a track-by-track look into this amazing CD, check out the CoA Review.
