Hey All I just got back from
California and I'm happy to say that I was lucky enough to get to watch
Buffy film in Torrence. Woo-hoo! My friends and I just wanted a picture
of
the Buffy house and we had been planning to go since weds but ended up
going on friday. Thank god! So we're driving to Buffy's house and low and
behold, they're filming in front of Buffy's house! Needless to say, we
stayed there the rest of the night. This is what I say and heard. BTW- I asked what epi they were filming
and I was told the 3rd. Mind you that we got there at 6:30pm and they had been filming since
730 that morning.... 1st scene(I saw anyway): Buffy and Dawn. They're talking about
something and Dawn runs off. That's all I saw and I couldn't hear anything
2nd scene: Spike walks out of the house and he's upset. He goes over to the tree
and starts kicking it and proceeds to crouch down and cry Xander and
Anya walk out of the house and they see Spike. Soike gets up and walks over
to then. They ta;lk and Spike get supset and grabs Xander and pushes him
up against the tree. You hear Xander grunt and Anya scream hey!" (LOL It
got annoying after awhile I must add "hey!")Then you hear Spike saying
something along the lines : "You didn't tell me...I've past 145 days
saving
your sorry asses....Willow knew...She wouldn't be the same...I wouldn't
have let her... The thing about Magic is there are always, ALWAYS
consequences." I'm positive about the last line bc James said that over and over
again really loud. Even the security guards were reciting that line While he's saying this Xander says something but I was unable to hear
Nic's end of the conversation. After spike says that last line he walks away. This was filmed two
different ways. One with SPike just walking away, another with Spike
hopping
on his motorcycle and riding off. That scene was also filmed without Anya. I'm sure she had more lines
then just "hey!" but I couldn't hear her. Only James was loud enough to
be
heard across the street. So what did I learn? Spike has no idea that they brought Buffy back.
He runs into her and is speechless (they were suppose to film this
yesterday btw but that was an interior shot somewhere and besides I was at the
airport ) BTW-They're going to be filming this Friday in front of Torrence
High It goes without saying that I d getting to watch Buffy film. We also
got to meet James, Nic,and Emma I wasn't able to get a pic with Nic
though but it was a great day anyway. I got to hug James too All thanx to
Tony! The best-est (that really should be a word btw) member of the Buffy
team!

Spike brings Buffy back as a
vampire with a soul and Willow will be the next big bad and we'll have
hints of it in the first three episodes.

I watched a scene being shot
in front of the Buffy house in Torrance last friday. I know pretty much
everyone word in that scene. We couldn't really hear what xander was
saying, but let me break it down for you guys.
(I hope you dont already know this...)
Spike exits Buffy's house confused, angry, and sad. He stand behind
the tree and starts crying.
Xander and Anya exit buffy's house and start walking towards the side
walk when they hear someone crying.
They turn and see spike behind the tree. Xander: "Spike?" Spike tries
to wipe the tears from his eyes. Xander says something to Spike making
him more angry than he already was.
Spike: "She's back and you didn't even tell me"
Xander says something and spike takes him by the shirt and throws him
against the tree. Spike: "You brought her back and you didn't tell
me!?!"
Xander tells him that Willow brought buffy back by Magic.
Spike then says that magic can go differently than you expect (ie
Buffy's mom)
Spike: "Willow didn't tell me because Willow knew that I would have
ne ver allowed it. She could have come back more wrong than you could ever
have imagined!"
Anya says something to spike to try and calm him down, but he isn't
even listening. He starts walking toward the street furious. As he walks
away he shouts back -
Spike: "There's one thing about magic, there are ALWAYS consequences
- ALWAYS!!"
Spike then gets on his motorcycle and drives away.
Sorry I couldn't hear the Xander and Anya dialogue. Nicky and Emma
were just talking too low.
DUHHHHHHH i feel like such a dork! Yes, i forgot to include that, he
said
Spike: "I worked alongside you for 145 bleeding days. I saved all
your asses" that's what he said. I can't believe i forgot about that.
sorry!
And, no, i will not be going to the next location shoot. I live in
Miami. I was on vacation in LA and just so happened to stumble upon the
shooting! we were going to take a pic of the buffy house when we saw all the
trailers and cameras/crew and stuff! They only film 4 times out of the
year in Torrance. That's what a crew memeber told us.
from what i understand, he saw buffy in the house. when he saw her,
the explained to him that she had been back for 2 weeks without him
knowing.
The dialogue and scene is from the 3rd episode.

Unfortunately, I can't stay. We're in the middle of breaking episode 8.
I'll try to stop back
later this afternoon if I get the chance.

Episode 7 is casting now and
it
has Joss listed as the writer/director. So it looks like they moved the
musical episode back one to episode 7. Oh, and the shoot start date is
9/26 for episode 7.
Posted by AutumnT on the Kitten Board on 8-24-01
I just got some new information.
Episode #5 is called "Life Serial"
It seems to be an episode where Buffy is trying to get back into the
swing of things. She tries going back to college, working construction
with Xander's male chauvenist pig construction crew, selling at the Magic
Box, and even goes out and gets drunk with Spike.
Meanwhile time is reacting oddly for her jumping and looping.
Tara is in the episode (even taking an art appreciation class with
Buffy). Jonathan and Warren are also in the episode following Buffy around
with someone named Andrew. This is also one of the episodes Giles is
in.

Well, I will share one other
thing with this board as I found it funny. There are kittens in this
episode. Lots of them. And just to answer a question before it is asked they
are not Willow & Tara's.

Can confirm that Buffy is
brought back from the dead by Willow's magic.
Can confirm that Buffy confides in Spike that she wishes her friends
would have left her alone in the afterlife where she was happy.
Why should you believe me?
I used to go by another name...

Nothing really spoilerish,
just
a bit of behind-the-scenes network scoop I got from a local UPN station
sales rep:
The musical episode is still airing Nov 13 as has been planned. An
episode was moved ahead of it during the writing phase and the season start
was moved a week to Oct 2. He didn't know which idea caused the other.
The November Neilsen rating survey of all local TV markets runs
November 1 - November 28. The peak household viewing will be the first 2 weeks
due to Thanksgiving falling in the 3rd week. So the musical episode was
always scheduled for the second week of the survey.
They are expecting big ratings for this one. He also said UPN hasn't
been specific but they are to expect "huge plot twists developing during
November sweeps". The rest of what he told me was just typical sales b.s.
And as we know "major plot twists" happen just about every week so
that's
part of the b.s.
That's why the musical episode is exactly where it is. Joss had it
falling there in the arc, so UPN has set the start date to get it into the
best ratings position.
If you've never been a media buyer and had to work with station reps
(or reptiles as I call them) then count your blessings. I'll wash, but
I'll never be clean again.

When Spike and Buffy go out on
what he considers a date and she considers an attempt to learn more
about
his world, he gets her drunk and starts a demon card game.
Anyway, he didn't add much more to your spoilers- only that Jonathan
transforms himself into a demon to fight Buffy- but it is meant to be
a helpful thing to teach her how to fight this particular demon or
something.
The only other thing is that Spike and Buffy ride his cycle
together-

Ok, I have something to say to
all of the B/S shippers, and trust me, if I confirm this, we're all
going
to be very happy!
OK, I have not confirmed this YET, but I was told by a source that I
can't reveal YET, that this season, Buffy and Spike will "do it". Those
were the exact words said to me. I am in the process of contacting my
source right now, because I want to get the whole story, lol.
"Buffy and Spike will do it this season. It won't be too soon, it'll
be like midseason or something like that" is what this person told me. As
soon as I confirm this, I will post it here.
I didn't want to say anything until I was sure, but I was just so
happy and screaming about this that I just had to post.
Don't get your hopes too high, until this is confirmed.

Buffy 6.5 FAQ Do major spoilers abound here?
They do! Stay clear if you if you want a clean approach to season six
of the best show on the TV. The big news?
It now looks like the "little bad" to which
play.cgi?id=9473>Coax made reference on July 4 will be acting as a kind of
weak-minded, college-boy Legion of Doom to balance the Scoobs increasingly
powerful super-hot college-girl Justice League. Legion of Doom?
Jonathan will apparently not be the only familiar component of the
evil troika. Jonathan has hooked up with Warren, the fellow Sunnydale High
alum who assembled the Aprilbot and the Buffybot in season five. Whos the third member of the evil trio? Somebody named Andrew. If this is a character from a previous
episode,
Im sure somebody in talkback will point him out soon enough. And if Andrew isnt someone weve already met?
Wellsir, there was word early on that Team Whedon was planning to
have
one member of the evil troika turn out to be a lot more malicious than
the other two. One guesses this makes Andrew look all the more
suspicious.
Any other tidbits of questionable importance?
One reliable source indicates that one of Jonathans compatriots
in the evil troika was originally supposed to be named Trevor. When will we meet this little bad?
Presumably in 6.5 (or the end of 6.4). Do the members of the little bad have superpowers?
Of course! Like what?
Like they can convincingly masquerade as demons, for one thing! What do they do in 6.5?
Mostly they stalk Buffy in their "supercool surveillance
van" -- though the slayer fails to notice until very late in the episode
(shes got a ton of stuff to fret over in that week). Whats Buffy up to in 6.5?
The slayers still trying to find her place in a world where
shes been suddenly transformed from mamas girl to surrogate
parent. Searching for what to do (when shes not extinguishing the
otherworldly), she in rapid sequence: audits a couple UCSunnydale classes with
Willow and Tara; takes a job hauling iron beams on Xanders
construction site; hires on as Anyas underling at the Magic Box; and gets
hammered with Spike in a local pub a pub that attracts clientele
similar to that serviced by L.A.s Caritas. Nothing works out. How is Buffy such a misfit?
Well, for one thing, shes inexplicably experiencing all kinds
of
time displacement. At one point, everything around her suddenly speeds
up like somebody hit a fast-forward button. Then she keeps getting caught
up in a "Groundhog Day"-like time-loop. I thought 6.5 was going to be the Halloween episode.
The Halloween episode was likely bumped to 6.6 due to the season
premiere being moved up a week, from Oct. 9 to Oct. 2. Is Herc sensing any hints of decline in quality now that
"Buffy" has migrated to UPN?
Judging by the scriptage weve thus far stumbled across, 6.1,
6.2 and 6.5 are all pretty geniusy, especially in the comedy department.
And 6.5 should be exceedingly hilarious. The words that spring to mind are
"continued upswing." Kids, Herc love love loves "Buffy the
Vampire Slayer." Not only is it far and away the funniest show on
TV, it routinely makes Mr. The Strong bawl like an 8-year-old girl. How about a couple more useful Buffy links for those of us with zero
self-control when it comes to the spoilers?
Heres a link to Hercs review of the 6.1/6.2 script , and
a link to a site called "The Spoiler Slayer," which
meticulously keeps track of spoiler reliability (including our own).

valMichael: We're shooting ep
4 right now (big Doug Petrie's directorial debut!!!) I'm currently
working on getting the Halloween ep ready to go.
Cashmere: There will be much Spike rejoicing for you this season.
That's all I'm saying. Thoin: I'm even more excited about this season than when we started.
It's going to really be one to remember. I'm honored to be a part of it.
What soul? Things are looking good for a little Xander action.
Join me in the Crypt of Decryption:
Well, there was a ton of good news for Spike fans this week. First, let me address a rumor my BAPS pal Nmissi came across. It
seems there are some people who have been led to believe that Buffy comes
back as a vampire with a soul. Given the plethora of additional info this
week, I have to dismiss this rumor as a probably fake. In fact, I can't
help wondering if it is part of Joss's disinformation campaign. If Buffy comes back as a vampire, howare the spoilers for Episode 5
explained? In that episode, Buffy works construction and goes to college.
I suppose she can do this during the night, but it seems far more likely
that these take place during the day. Buffy may feel like a
vampire after her resurrection experience, but I doubt she really becomes one.
In scheduling news, casting info confirms that Joss's musical episode
is no longer Episode #6 but instead is #7, as suggested by Drew
Greenberg on 8-15-01. I don't know what to make of Salix's info
that the musical
will air on November 13. If the Halloween episode is #6 and airs
October
30, and the musical is #7 and airs November 13, and sweeps begin
November 1, then a rerun will air on November 6. That seems very
unlikely. On to episode-specific information: Episode 3, as suspected, seems to
be the episode where Spike learns of Buffy's resurrection. If the
location reports are true, then he is angry, upset, and not implicated
in the resurrection. He has also been counting the days since Buffy's
death (and observant BAPSter Jacqueline pointed out that 145 days after
May 22, the date "The Gift" aired, falls in mid-October). And he has
been saving the Scoobies without any thought of pleasing Buffy (as she
has been dead) and without earning thank-yous, apparently, from the
Scoobies. This is all heady material for the redemptionistas. Pretty
much the equivalent of Joss tattooing "Spike has changed" on poor James
Marsters' forehead. The news about Episode 5 is also pleasing. Part of the episode
includes Buffy and Spike getting drunk together. Andromeda adds
information about a demon card game and Buffy and Spike sharing a ride
on a motorcycle. Of some concern is the wording of this spoilage. Does
Spike get Buffy drunk? Or do they get drunk together? Spike getting
Buffy drunk would suggest something deliberate and potentially
exploitative. And finally, there are numerous vague references to good things for
Spike fans, both from Steve DeKnight, who says Spike fans will be
rejoicing this season, and from anonymous sources who say Spike and
Buffy will have sex in Season 6. Why is all this information coming out
now? Well, we can speculate that UPN and ME are trying to generate
interest in the show, and a potential romance is the way to do that.
James Marsters has been making appearances almost every weekend, and I'm
not convinced it's just because he was covering his butt in case of a
writer's strike. He is an excellent ambassador for the character of
Spike and can draw many new fans to the show. As a potential Buffy love
interest, he is in the role of male romantic lead, a role he seems quite
able to pull off convincingly. A Buffy/Spike romance could draw a lot of
attention, and it would be in the interest of UPN and ME to allude to
the potential relationship before the season begins.
