Not a lot of Spike, but some interesting stuff.

In the lab, Spike is watching Fred and Angel try to figure out the cyborg. Fred says that the thing is partly human, and Spike makes a remark about humans interbreeding with robots. Fred and Angel give him a look, and he says, "Having sex with robots happens more often than you think." And Eve gives him a Look...

Later, Eve gets into the elevator alone. When the car starts to move, though, there's Spike. He knows something is going on with her; he's seen her watching him closely. He wants to know why the Senior Partners haven't cut him loose, if the amulet was meant to trap Angel. Eve says, "What makes you think it was intended for Angel?" And just then the alarms go off as the ninja cyborgs cut power to the building.

Spike makes his way out of the elevator to find a battle going on in the lobby. Gunn is in trouble, a cyborg's chain around his neck. The cyborg is choking him, and Spike sees. "Gunn!" he shouts, and runs up to the struggling pair. For a long moment he doesn't do anything, and Gunn is trying to urge him into action. "Gotta concentrate," Spike says, and after another second, punches through Gunn and connects with the cyborg behind him. The cyborg falls, Gunn looks amazed, and Spike is very happy.

As Angel goes up to the roof to look for Wes, Spike tells him that Eve is trapped in the elevator. Angel tells him to notify Security, but Spike doesn't know where that is. And really, he doesn't care, either.

Not Spike stuff, but HOLY COW, was AD wonderful in this ep! The scene on the roof, WOW!

And when he calls home, he does speak to his dad. So there's something out there that has access to some pretty detailed info on Wes...
