- Bottom to Top: The Angel Episode Countdown
And we continue the countdown...
Is it just me or did they spend way too much time standing around in that bar? When I first saw
this episode I was like, "Wow. They already ran out of ideas for the show in an episode and a half. That's
gotta be a record." Then there was that parasite demon, and a lot of gunk and goop everywhere.
I really, really get tired of metaphors. This one was about a bunch of women who don't have rights
in their home dimension. The really bad scene comes when Angel is all seduced by the head chica with
the wacky tattoo on her face.
This old guy wants to be young...over and over again. Nuttiness ensues, as you can imagine. He sucks
Angel's essence, and of course the gang doesn't realize he isn't Angel until the end. You know,
it runs act-for-act, and you can pretty much tell where the act ends and the next one begins. And let's
not forget when "Angel" is making out with Lilah. That right there is enough for this one to be
on the lower part of the countdown. Oh, you know you have a stinker when you see the big fat
obnoxious fiancee as an orderly. Oh yes.
More of Anne. Ugh. Here comes the zombie cops, out to rid the world of street kids everywhere. You ever
notice the shelter doesn't house older homeless folks? That's discrimination, I tell ya! The coolest
part is when Wes gets shot. Oh that Wes, always trying to get himself killed one way or another.
Do I even need to mention metaphors anymore? Demons=slaves. African Americans before the 1960's=slaves. You get
it. Lest we forget the ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, and those silly arm bracelets too. Angel,
you're in a real pickle this time.

- David really cracked me up in that episode. The only thing I disliked about it was the melting rubber skin at the beginning, and the old man was pretty bad.
