Synopsis
The Short: As Cordelia has a vision of a man who kills himself, Lindsey and Lilah draw closer to finding out who is being promoted and who is being cut from the firm. When Lindsey is bumped up on a waiting list to receive a hand transplant by their boss, Lilah figures she is doomed. Although the operation seems to work wonders, the hand starts writing ''kill, kill, kill'' and Lindsey is worried he has an insane evil hand. This leads both Lindsey and Angel Investigations to Caritas where the host sends them both to work on the case together, despite their hard feelings. They eventually discover that the hand, and the eye of the man who killed himself were transplanted by a clinic using demonic magic. They track down the place where the donors are kept and discover the poor people are still alive. Angel and Lindsey free those who can survive and kill the rest. When Lindsey is put up for promotion later on, he quits the firm, makes a grand speech on his exit and suggests Lilah for the job, who
gets it. Angel sends off Lindsey telling him to never return, and leaves a prank on his bumper on the way out.
The Long: After a ''Previously on Angel'' segment (see Continuity #1) we open on Lindsey waking up and dealing with life without his right hand. We then switch to a family scene getting ready to leave after breakfast. As the pack into the van the seemingly normal husband picks up a knife and stabs himself in the eye for no reason. Cordelia sees it all in a vision. Angel, Gunn and Wesley comfort her. She seems to be completely broken up by the event, curled up and crying. (Listen to the teaser here.)
Unfinished.

Cool Quotes
- Lindsey: ''Lilah. Please. They chose me. I'm clearly the guy.''
Nathan: ''Yes, you are.''
Lindsey: ''You could've had it, but you didn't have what it takes. An evil hand. I mean, come on, who here does, huh? Leon doesn't. Charlie doesn't. You do know you gave me an evil hand, right? I've been writing 'Kill, kill, kill' on everything. It's crazy. It's crazy. Anything could happen!''
Nathan: ''Allan.''
Lindsey: ''Allan, how are you? Uh-oh. Uh, that's gonna hurt in the morning! Stop, evil hand, stop it. I just can't control my evil hand. Nathan, I'm so proud that you chose me. Charlie! If I would have been in your shoes, I would have chosen Lilah. Let me tell you why. Do you have any idea of the hours this chick has logged in? Huh? The files she has on you guys? Deep stuff. Ronnie, your stock manipulations, Nathan's little offshore accounts... Can you imagine if something were to happen to this girl and those files got back to the senior partners? They'd eat you alive! She's been working overtime, boys. She's everything you ever dreamed off. Lilah
is your guy. Me I'm unreliable. I've got these evil hand issues and I'm bored with this crap, and besides, I'm leaving, so if you wanna chase me, be my guest, and remember evil. Charlie. Good luck. Evil.''
I almost fell out of my seat. Good for Lindsey! Listen to the quote here.

- Doctor Melman: ''Let's see. Okay. Your basic vitals are good. You've had all the usual childhood diseases and your not allergic to any medication. Let's start him out with two milligrams of Versed. It's a little something to relax you before we begin the procedure. Do you have any questions?''
Versed is the common name for Midazolam Hydrochloride, a drug which acts to calm the patient, relaxes skeletal muscles, blocks memory, prevents feeling pain, but enables them to follow commands.

- Cordelia: ''Cereal bowls, on the table, and, uhm, there was a book bag. It has a name of a school
on it. Ah, D-something. Delaney, or, uh... Delancey Schools.''
Delancey Schools are...

Points Of View
Mathew:
It was unexpected to see that the "evil hand" just wanted itself to be dead. The body bank was right out of Coma, and well done. This episode picked up a whole point at the end with Lindsey's little rant.
