A Trip to Hogwarts: A Sunny Problem

by littlewiccan

Spike and Angel sat at the bar of the Leaky Cauldron. There were a few witches and wizards sitting around, talking, and having fun. Buffy and Cordelia walked up to the bar.

Buffy turned to Spike, "Are you ready to go shopping for the supplies we're going to need?"

"Yeah, Angel are you ready? We should get going,” Cordy said to Angel.

"Not to be the bearer of bad news love but in case you didn’t get the memo, peaches and I can't exactly go take a stroll in the sun,” Spike retorted.

"Will you stop calling me that!" Angel yelled at him, annoyed.

Buffy tried to make the best of what she found a displeasing situation (working with Spike), "The bookshops right across the street. Can't you just put your jacket over your head and run or something?"

"Are you off you're bloody bird?! We can't go out there. Unless you'd like a colleague who's a pile of dust." Spike remarked.

"Wow," Angel said.

"What’s so amazing?" Cordy asked confused.

"Nothing. I just didn't realize Spike knew a word as big as colleague," he laughed.

Spike said in response, "Hey, you're one to talk you."

Before he could say anymore their conversation was interrupted by Wesley, who was accompanied by Fred, "Excuse me, if I could just interrupt you for a second. The sunlight shouldn't pose a problem for you here if my research is correct; Diagon Alley is in a way slightly moved out of our dimension as a means of cloaking it. Allowing it to only be entered by those with the correct password."

"And in English that would mean?" Spike asked.

Fred broke in and tried to explain, "What Wesley is trying to say is that the sun here won't hurt vampires. You're safe."

"Are you sure?" Angel asked Wesley.

"Yes, I'm almost positive.........I think," he replied.

"That's comforting," Buffy remarked.

Dawn walked over to her sister with Connor by her side, "Buffy, Connor and I are going to go buy are school supplies. Okay?"

"Yeah, sure that's fine."

"Dad? Is that cool?" Connor asked Angel.

"Yeah."

"Bye," Dawn said as she waved goodbye to everyone.

"See you later," Connor said as he began to leave the shop with Dawn.

"Bye," everyone said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? I was born to shop,” Cordy said to Angel as she dragged him towards the door while the others followed.

Sorry this chapter is so short. More soon though I promise. R&R please. I really want to know what you think.

****Also tell me who you'd like to see Dawn, Connor, Harry, Heromine, and Ron paired off with it can be anyone from Angel, Buffy, or HP. You can even tell me that you want it to be someone new.****

I know the whole thing about Diagon Alley being removed from this dimension isn't true but I needed a way for them to go shopping during the day.
