End of Days: Becoming, Part 1

As soon as Buffy made her way through the Sunnydale High courtyard, more gross looking zombies popped out from the ground without warning, trying to claw their way out and reaching for the Slayer, making moaning noises that sounded too loudly not to hear.

Buffy was emotionally and physically exhausted from her fight with the vampires earlier, but now they have increased big time, stalking and lurking their way through the streets of Sunnydale.

Buffy knew she was going to need help. With all the demons lurking through Sunnydale, she knew something huge was going to happen.

Without warning, she looked up at the night sky.

The full moon that was giving off its silvery glow was now slowly being covered by dripping red blood, making the sky look even more darker than before.

Blood dripped from the moon and splashed onto the nearby street, burning the concrete.

What the hell? Buffy thought frantically, as soon as she entered the nearby double doors of the school,

she turned her head and looked back on the street, seeing a group of demons or vampires walking towards the school, their eyes on the Slayer.

Buffy recognized the faces of some of the demons. It was the missing residents.

Buffy had never seen them look so evil or disgusting, more so than any Big Bad she ever faced in her life.

Buffy had stalled so much a vampire appeared behind her, putting his arm around her neck, trying to squeeze the life out of her but Buffy flipped him over with her strength, then pummeled the Dagger into its undead heart.

Purple ashes gathered near her foot as she hurried to entered the school, running towards the Library where the Scooby Gang was at the moment.

She entered the Library and hurriedly used the sign to seal the doors, not wanting any of those monsters to come in and attack her and her friends.

Buffy took a deep breath, having not feeling so exhausted like this in a long while.

"Buffy, what's wrong?" asked her best friend Willow with a worried look in her eyes. "We got trouble, major trouble. And it doesn't look good at all.

You guys better go find some weapons fast. There's too many demons and vampires out there roaming the streets. Way too many. Something big is coming."

"What do you mean?" asked her Watcher, Giles. "Giles, there's too many demons out there attacking people.

There were tremors that felt like earthquakes and then more demons appeared from under the ground. Now there's even zombies walking the streets.

Even the moon is now covered in blood. Tell me you know something about this."

Buffy sat exhaustically on one of the chairs, cuts and bruises all over her body. She was tired as hell.

"I'm not really sure what is going on, Buffy. It sounds like though we have another apocalypse on our hands. But i think this time, it will be much more difficult to fight it more than ever. It sounds like the Hellmouth is opening again."

Buffy just stared at him in shock. "That so not sounds good. I think we better at least get some weapons and such. You do the research and I'll prepare the gang for battle.:"

Buffy anxiously hurried to get many weapons in case if they were going to be attack. The double doors behind the stacks of books open to reveal the faces of Xander, Cordelia, Oz, and Angel. They looked anxious.

Buffy tossed a few swords and crossbows on the table. She didn't like seeing their expressions. "What's going on?" she almost snapped.

"Things are not looking good as far as I can say," replied Xander who looked so frightened.

"There's another demon in town. Killing both humans and demons and this one was unstoppable. There was no way of killing it," replied Angel broodily.

"At least you guys are okay....." then the Library doors were being slammed loudly, which made Buffy jumped. "Everyone get your weapons. This is our battle now. We have to fight."


She was right. This was their battle. but the Gang wasn't ready yet of what was to come.....
