End of Days: Chosen
by BelovedSlayer
Sneaking quietly as a cat as to not disturb the vampires roaming throughout the neighborhood streets,
Buffy carefully made her way through a nearby dark alley, keeping her
eyes open for any vampires or demons standing nearby.
Heart pumping loudly against her chest, Buffy ran straight through the alley,
her eyes picking up a sound that was coming from a nearby Dumpster.
Holding her Dagger in hand, she carefully made her way towards the blue Dumpster, Slayer senses on high alert.
She heard screaming that would of been strong enough to pierce her own ears.
It sounded human. Without hesitating, the Slayer ran behind the
Dumpster, seeing a vision of a tall, lanky vampire trying to sink its fangs
into the throat of a young girl who was struggling with all her might to push him away.
"Get away from me!" the young girl yelled, trying to push the vampire's face away from her but was still struggling, running out of breath.
Buffy did a roundhouse kick to his head, knocking him down flat on his back.
"Get away from her!" Buffy snarled, her body ready to fight the ugly vamp.
The vampire stood up and turn to look at the Slayer.
"Slayer," he hissed. He didn't hesitate as he ran towards the Slayer,
trying to pick her up and throw her but it didn't happen.
the Slayer's Dagger had pieced the vampire's undead heart, his body crackling with purple power,
the power of the one and only Slayer. Buffy didn't need a stake to dust the vampires. Not anymore.
Her Dagger was powerful enough to do just that. That was how strong a weapon was from the Powers That Be.
The vampire's arms was still dangling in the air when his heavy body crashed to the ground,
the night air covering with his loud screams as his body turned slowly to dust, his body in obvious excruciating pain.
Buffy looked at the girl, helping her up. "You better come with me. It's not safe for you to be out here alone."
The girl just looked at her with her sad eyes and nodded, not saying a word.
Then they turned to go but Buffy had found more trouble ahead.
More vampires were surrounding the end of the dark alley but there was a solution.
Willy's Bar. Buffy knew he wasn't going to be there since most of the
town had already evacuated except for some stubborn citizens who refused to leave. It was the Slayer's salvation.
"Come on. This way," she ordered the girl while keeping hold on her Dagger.
She kicked the door to the bar with all her supernatural strength while at the same time, her eyes were searching for any sign of vampire or demon.
Apparently, there wasn't any.
Buffy grabbed a nearby pool stick just in case while her and the girl went out through the other door.
A cool breeze blew her face as she held onto the girl's hand andbegan to run, seeing more vampires and demons roaming and lurking the streets now more than ever.
"Dammit," Buffy murmured, trying to find a way to escape without having a chance of the vampires seeing them.
Without warning, Buffy felt a trembling beneath her feet. a loud and strong trembling.
Streets nearby were starting to crack and break loudly as fire shot through the air from the sewers, spilling onto the streets.
Buffy looked on in shock as more ugly looking demons
appeared to be coming from under the now broken streets, crawling.
"We better get going," Buffy said to the girl, when she turned around and gasped.
The little girl was actually a vampire, her game face on.
Without hesitating, Buffy stabbed the Dagger straight into the girl's heart, her body turning into purple dust.
She turned around and began running to Sunnydale High, watching all the carnage and demons the forces of Darkness were inflicting upon in the Hellmouth.
The time of Darkness was about to begin.....
