College Love: Date at the Library

After Dawn hung up the phone she gathered up her books and her laptop and put them in her bag and headed off to the library.

When she got there she found a table near the back by the bay window that was empty and spread her stuff out so no one else could sit with her.She sat there reading and searching words that she didn't know the meaning of but she couldn't think of anything but him. She tried so hard to study but she just kept wishing he was there.

"So,something came up with friends huh?"A voice said while she was reading something for her psyche 101 class.

"What?Oh!Hi Connor!"Dawn's heart began to race and her palms started sweating and she felt like she was about to pass out right there in front of him.

"Now I thought I remembered you saying something about hanging out with friends tonight while we were on the phone so I figured come down to my favorite spot in the library and get some studying done but here you are.In my favorite spot."He giggled a little and smiled at her.

She blushed and felt her face get hot,"Oh well,my friend...she um...cancelled and...oh forget it.When you called I was on the other line with my sister and she told me to tell you I had plans so I didn't seem desperate and I decided to come here...to my fa-favorite spot and...well if you wanna sit down you can."She pointed to the chair next to her and he came over and sat down.

"So what class are you studying for?"

"Um...psyche 101.I have a big test on Monday and I'm gonna cram this weekend.Mr. Harris is a total hard ass when it comes to testing."

"Oh you think Harris is tough,last year I had Mrs. Decari and she was a total bitch.If you were even late by two seconds late she would yell and scream and just totally humiliate you and everyone remembers all year."They both laughed and Dawn blushed again,"Do you wanna go get some coffee or something?I can't concentrate at all."

"Sure!"Dawn yelled and raised a few heads and sushes,"Yeah.I can't concentrate either."They got their stuff and headed to the Starbucks that was in the lobby of the school.
