Buffy took a sip of her warm espresso as the cool breeze swept threw her. It had been a week since her and Tara's "trip". She never found out exactly what had happened while she was gone, or who the man in the hood was. He had apparently left town when word got around that the Slayer was back and royally pissed. And as far as Buffy and Tara's evil twins were concerned, Buffy decided ignorance was bliss.

She took another sip of her drink, and looked around at the people in the cafe for Tara who she was waiting for. Buffy had to admit that the whole experience in her Shadow's reality was not her choice, but she was glad it had happened. In her reliance on Tara, she had found something between them that she treasured.

She caught sight of Tara, waved her over to the table, and smiled.
