buffy ran through the mansion, tears streaming down her face, she didnt even know where she was running to. She found herself in the basement. Panicking she started to run.

what was that that i just bumped into she thought??

she didnt want to know. she looked up slowly as the arms of the person or whatever it was wrapped around her.

"whats wrong love?"

it was only spike

"thought that you were meant to be up in the attic with lovver boy. What did he do to you? Did he hit you?"

she shook her head

"well what then? he obviously did something cause you look like youve been crying for a month"

"he....."

"come on love you can tell me"

"he said that he didnt love me anymore"

"what a stupid arse. i would never do that to you i will always love you. God and he picked a good time to didnt he."

"look spike there is something that i have to tell you. That i should have said a long time ago now"

there was shame in her eyes

*in the basement of buffys house just after spike says that she can stay the night*

spkie puts on the amulet

"spike"

"yes pet"

he could see it in her eyes he could smell her arousal. His jeans clutched to his skin as he started to sweat."how the hell can i sweat in undead" he thought to himself. it was the effect taht she had on him. she leaned forward and kissed him. he pulled away. he could see the disapointment in her eyes.

"why... why dont you want this?"

" i cant buffy not after what i did to you"

" you where different then. you didnt even have a soul. besides i want to this time."

"your sure?"

"yes im sure"

she leaned in again and their kiss deapened

"buffy you know that that couldnt happen im a vampire"

"look i did some research there was an old myth that a vampire could have a kid if it was with another vampire or a slayer. when the amulet glowed.. that was what was happening. The myth was becomeing reality. This is your baby."

She unzipped her coat to show a small but still there bump.

"can i touch it?"

"sure"

she took his hand and guided it to the baby

"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

they both looked up. spike pulled away his hand

"what was that"

"it sounded like dawn"

they ran in the direction of the scream. Gunn was already there. The demon was holding dawn in a way taht looked like he was about to eat her.....
