What happens now?: The Wedding

Beep Beep Beep Be………..
Buffy hit her alarm clock so hard that it shattered in tiny pieces. “Opps” she mumbled to herself before smiling to herself and rolling over expecting to see Angel lying beside her. But he wasn’t. ‘O…k’ she thought. Then she looked around her, ‘why aren’t I in his room, where am I anyway?’ That was untill her eyes settled in wedding dress hanging on the back of the closet door and it all came flooding back. Today was the day.
“Morning bride to be!” Willow said grinning as she popped her head around the door. After a few seconds of Buffy smiling at her puzzlingly she walked into the room with a big tray of food. “Oh breakfast in bed. To what do I owe this honour?” She asked suspiciously to Willow. Who simply rolled her eyes, smiled and said, “Your getting married so therefore it is official pamper Buffy day dummy, now eat up or it’ll get cold!” Buffy contemplated that answer then simply smiled and said, “Well then I think I should get married everyday!” Then willingly took the tray from Willows hands and tucked in to the delicious looking spread.
The girls sat and chatted happily while Buffy ate her breakfast. But when she was finished, that’s when the serious stuff started, yeah right. Buffy, Willow, Faith, Fred and Dawn all assembled in the lobby to start to get ready. Buffy’s dress was straight and strapless, with beading and embroidery on the bodice and a lace overlay on the skirt. Willow’s, Dawn’s, Fred’s and Faith’s dresses where all purple. Only Faith had insisted that her dress be dark purple because otherwise she would look stupid. Each girl had a tiara on and jewels in their hair. The three hours that it took for the girls to get ready went to fast and in no time at all Xander was standing in the doorway ready to escort the girls to a beautiful White Rolls-Royce which was waiting outside to take them to the church.
In the back of the car Buffy began to panic. “What if…” She started But Faith put her hand up to stop her talking. “No!” she said firmly, never taking her gaze away from the window. Buffy looked puzzled yet somewhat amused, “I didn’t say anything yet!” she argued looking at Faith still more puzzled. So Faith explained. “I know you didn’t say anything. But any sentence beginning with the words what if never ends well. It’s all gonna be just fine” Although her words were comforting Faith had a gut feeling, like Buffy that screamed that something was gonna go wrong. They could just sense it.
The Car came to a halt about fifteen minutes later. Shaking Buffy stepped out of the car. Fred came up behind her and handed her, her flowers and grinned reassuringly . They heard the wedding march sound from inside the church so they opened the doors and started down the aisle. Buffy felt herself go red in the face with everyone starring at her smiling. But no-one was smiling more then him. Her guy. The one at the end of the aisle. My god she loves him. But she just couldn’t shake that gut feeling. I won’t bore you with the details of the vows except that instead of saying I do, Buffy said always.
