One By One: Killer's Night

Buffy, Dawn, Cordelia, Willow, and Darla all snuggled next to their boyfriends while eating some bowls of popcorn, their eyes focusing on the TV screen in the living room.

Despite all the killings that was happening in Sunnydale, they all decided to watch some scary movies. Mostly Freddy Krueger movies.


Buffy screamed loudly as she snuggled closely to her boyfriend Spike, who was just enjoying seeing her reaction to the movie.

"What's wrong pet? Cat gotcha tongue?" Spike grinned at his girl while she looked at him angrily. "That isn't funny Spike," Buffy snarled while the other guys were just laughing in glee.

"Bloody hell. For me it is seeing you get all scared over some stupid sodding scary movie," Spike replied in his British voice.

"Come on that wasn't funny. Look at what's really happening out there," Angel replied, holding on to his girl Darla closely to his chest. Suddenly, the entire lights in the house went out, including the TV.

Most of the girls screamed just a bit louder as the group heard scratching noises coming from the front door. It sounded like a huge knife cutting through it.

"Someone's here!" shouted Dawn, fear etched in her face as she searched for anything to use as a weapon. " No one moves. We're gonna check this out," said Oz, usually so calm and cool, but had a bit of anxiety etched in his voice.

"We better go find a weapon or something," replied Angel.

"You girls stay here. We're gonna check this one out," Spike replied, giving off a kiss to his girl, Buffy. More scratches were heard, this time coming from the dark kitchen.

" This is too scary. Maybe we should go look for a weapon or something to protect us," said Cordelia.

Yeah i guess. But we should stay together. I don't want none of us going to look for a weapon by themselves," replied Buffy, her eyes already searching for a weapon.

"Found some right here," yelled Dawn, carrying at least 4 aluminum baseball bats. They were solid and heavy. Perfect to hit someone with.

"Good. Now we stay together and...." Loud thumps were heard from outside by where the porch was. Heavy thumps.

"Did you guys hear that?" asked Willow, her body shivering despite being warm. "Yeah we did. We should go to the door and check it out," replied Darla, her hands gripping the solid bat.

" all right. Let's go but stay behind me and keep looking for anything that might move," Buffy said quietly, walking slowly towards the front doors as the girls heard more thumping coming from outside.

Buffy stopped by the door, anxiety and fear bubbling in her stomach as her hand reached for the cold brass knob, slowly twisting it.

The door opened slowly with as much creaking sounds. Buffy's heart pumped loudly against her chest as her eyes looked down at the porch floor. She dropped her baseball bat as she let out a loud scream......
