Love at First Sight: Star Crossed Love

Little Buffy and Angel kept on staring at each other in silence as the white hot explosion glowed brightly between them. Buffy saw Angel's face filled with horror and both confusion at the same time.

She wanted so bad to comfort him, to tell him that everything was gonna be all right. She grabbed his small warm hand and placed it in her's, smiling gently at him.

Soon, he felt much more better, the fear slowly disappearing from his face. "Thanks Buffy. I needed that," he replied, his angelic face looking at her.

"Your welcome.Don't be scared Angel. I'm here with you. I'll protect you, like I said and I mean it. I won't let anything happen to you. I promise," she replied, her stubborn face showing through her hazel eyes.

Angel couldn't help but giggle at her. He had a nice laugh. A sudden warmess filled Buffy's little heart as she saw more pink smoke surrounding them both. I wonder what's going on? Who's doing this? I don't see anyone here but us.

Something magically incredible was happening to them but they were too scared, thinking something bad was gonna happen to them.

All of a sudden, all the pink smoke and white light disappeared as Angel held on to Buffy fiercely, tears falling from his angel eyes. He was already becoming scared again. Buffy just held on him, trying to comfort him like always.

"Don't worry Angel, I'm here. You don't have to be scared anymore," she replied softly in his ear, feeling his head nodding against her shoulder.

Buffy placed her hands through his soft hair, smiling but scared at the same time. Now they were back in their classroom, standing in the middle of the huge room, which was now empty and dark.

"Where's everyone?" Angel asked, still scared as he searched for Buffy's face. Buffy held onto him with her small hand, didn't want to lose him because it was so dark inside the empty classroom.

"I guess its already after school. Everyone is gone. We better get out of here Angel," Buffy went to open the wooden door.

"Wait Buffy, don't leave me here by myself," Angel yelled from behind her, noticing that she was already walking to the door.

Buffy laughed despite of herself. "I wasn't gonna leave you here by yourself Angel. You know I wouldn't do that. Maybe you shouldn't be so scared too much. Besides, I'm here with you."

Buffy turned the cold knob and opened the door, sunlight spilling through the wide glass doors. "Angel, its' still light outside. Come on, we better hurry," Buffy yelled behind her, grabbing Angel's hand as they ran to the double glass doors, opening them and walking through the grass lawn.

they saw they're parents waiting for them. "Mommy!" Buffy yelled, happiness filled her small body. She stopped and turn to look at Angel, who was staring back with his gorgeous brown eyes.

Sadness was starting to fill her body for some reason. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then Angel. I'm glad that you're here with me now," she replied, her cheeks starting to blush a little after everything they went through.

Angel smiled at her and grabbed her right hand. "Me too. I'm glad to be your friend. After what just happened, I wouldn't mind going through that with you again. You're one brave girl and.... I really like that."

Unexpectedly, Angel planted a kiss to Buffy, this time on her lips. Buffy looked on at him in shock, feeling his warm lips pressed to hers. She didn't stop him though, even when her mom was looking at them.

A minute later, Angel smiled,"I'll see you in class tomorrow. Bye Buffy," he turned and ran to his parents, Buffy kept on staring at him, still couldn't believe at what just happened.

He kissed me. He actually kissed me on the lips! I can't believe it. I just had my first kiss. My first real kiss. And if felt so good somehow,Buffy smiled happily and turn to run to her mom, who was also staring at her. Joyce hugged her daughter fiercely as Buffy heard more words across her mind this time.

He's destined to be yours forever. True love. Buffy shook her head, still struggling to understand what was going on. She look down on the cross necklace Angel had given her and giggled to herself. She thought of Angel and felt that tugging growing inside her 5 year old body.

Somehow through all of this, she knew that Angel was going to be in her future when she got more older. She could tell with all the visions and images.

She smiled up at her mom and held her hand. "Let's go home mommy. I'm getting hungry." "Okay sweetheart, let's go then." They walked back to the Jeep. Buffy turned and saw Angel still looking at her, his brown eyes looking so light in the sun.

He smiled at her, she smiled back at him and looked down at her necklace. Soulmates, whatever that word means, it's probably us. Me and my Angel....
