One By One: A Killer is on the Loose

Buffy and Darla looked at each other and then ran off the stairs in a hurry, running out of breath as they entered the living room, hearing the voice of one of the news people talking about the two missing girls from last night.

"Hey Darla look. Wasn't those the girls we saw at the Bronze last night?" Buffy asked, worried and fear etched in her voice.

"Yeah I think so. They were hanging with those boys that we went to gym class with last year." The newsperson's voice boomed throughout the living room walls as the two girls looked on at the tv in horror.

"Authorities believe that no one had saw the two girls leaving the nightclub last night and apparently they were no eyewitnesses whatsoever. Police are on a lookout for a potential serial killer lurking within the Sunnydale community. If anyone has any more information relating to the girls' disappearance, you are asked to call the Sunnydale police immediately."

Buffy's body shook tremendously as the girls grabbed their purses and head out of the door. "You girls be careful now. I want you home right after school okay Darla," her mom said.

"Yeah okay. I will." She looked on at Buffy speechless as the girls headed out and walked towards the school, thier eyes searching for any mysterious people lurking throughout the neighborhood but didn't see anything suspicious.

"I would think we should tell the group about this. Who knows? maybe Drusilla and her girls were behind it after what happened yesterday," Buffy said somberly, clutching her books and bag close to her. She and Darla were very scared.

"I guess so. Damn, we better hurry. I don't think I want to be out here. Even if it is daytime," Darla replied as the girls walked more faster, not paying attention to a tall person dressed in black standing a few feet behind them, watching they're every move.......
