'Uh, Giles, is it just me or are you growing a secret banana tree in here?'

Giles stopped chewing and stared at her.

She laughed. 'It's just, you're big with the fruit everytime I enter this library. particularly with bananas.'

'I can assure you that this library has the incorrect humidity to grow a banana tree of any kind.I happen to purchase my fruit from the local grocery...'

'Okay Giles, I was only kidding.Really' smiled Buffy.

Giles took a bite from his banana and continued to read his book.

'Fruit tree indeed', he grumbled. 'Next you'll be asking whether I have a money shrub of some kind'.

'Well, do you?' she asked in mock seriousness. Giles sighed. 'Oh, Giles,before I go, I met a vamp last night. Blabby. Told me about some apocalypsy demon.'

Giles looked up. 'Really? Did you acquire a name?'

Buffy thought hard. 'Something...mathy. Mathyness.' She shrugged never heard of it. Except in math. Demons seem to be really scraping the barrel when it comes to names these days...'

'Wait a moment', said Giles, disappearing behind a book shelf. He reemergedwith a dusty book, entitled '101 Apocalyptic Demons'.

'Wow. handy', remarked Buffy. 'Every home should have one.'

'I knew it' breathed Giles. 'Maphius-the end to the end of all ends'

She peered down at the picture. 'Hmm...Ugly much?How do I kill it?'

The bell rung loudly. Bufffy sighed. 'Okay, math comes first. See you later'.

'Yes...' said Giles, engrossed in the book.

'And i think I got it wrong!', worried Willow. Buffy, Oz, Xander and Cordelia all sat around her in the cafetaria, trying to be sympathetic to her post-math test anxieties.

'If it's any help, I didn't answer that question, plus 15 others.', pointed out Xander.

C'mon Will, it's not that bad', asid Buffy. 'I did majorly worse'

'Maybe the question was wrong to begin with', shrugged Oz. Willow smiled.

'Hello?', interrupted Cordelia. 'Can you just listen to *my* trauma for one second?'

'Huh?' said Buffy, 'What, you think you failed? Cordelia, that is not trauma, that's nature'. Cordelia glared at her.

'A vampire tried to kidnap her in the ladies room this morning. But he changed his mind and road-runnered.'

'Now that's weird', said Buffy thoughtfully.

'I know', said Xander. 'What the hell was he doing in the ladies room?'.

Cordelia looked annoyed. Buffy thought quickly.Should she follow this mystery vamp further and question Cordelia? But that would mean she'd have
to neglect the Maphius situation. Cordelia has been known to exaggerate.
But that vamp wasn't exactly Mr Honest...
